Southfork....morning....

A catering van is parked in rear of the mansion at Southfork early on a partly cloudy Saturday morning in preparation for the annual Ewing Barbecue, which is to be held that afternoon.  On the

ranch, workers are readying Southfork for the day's events, putting up concession stands and

 tables and decorations.

Meanwhile, in her bedroom, Krystle Carrington is sitting up in bed, unable to go back to sleep due to the noise the workers are making outside.  Krystle reaches over and picks up the remote control.  She switches on the TV and begins flipping channels, eventually coming to a classic TV channel where one of her favorite shows, The Big Valley, is on.  However, she is unable to concentrate on the show.  A knock comes at Krystle's door.  "Come in," she says.

Krystina comes into the room.  "Morning, Mom.  I figured you'd be awake."

"Who can sleep with all that activity going on outside?"  Krystle asks.  "What's going on, anyway?"

Krystina looks at her mother with concern after hearing Krystle's strange question.  "Mom, they're getting everything set up for the Barbecue this afternoon."

"Oh, yes, that's right."

"Mom, are you feeling alright?"

"I'm fine.  Just a little headache, that's all."

I'll bring you up some Tylenol.  I want you feeling wonderful for the Barbecue today.  Oh, by the way, I spoke to Steven and Fallon last night, and they're both coming to the Barbecue, and so are L.B., Danny and his fiance Angela, and A.J."

Krystle smiles.  "Well, that's wonderful.  If we're not careful, we might have more Carringtons here than Ewings,"  she jokes.

"Oh, I don't think there's any danger in that.  The Ewings are a pretty big family.  Why don't you try and get a little more rest and I'll bring you those Tylenol?  I have some in my medicine cabinet in my bathroom.  Be right back."

"Alright, darling,"  Krystle says as her daughter leaves the room.  She rubs her temples and grimaces in pain.

Meanwhile....downstairs....

While Ann is talking to the caterer, Bobby is talking with the man responsible for supplying the Barbecue with the alcohol.

"How many cases are we gonna have, Mike?" Bobby asks.

"30 cases as usual, Mr. Ewing.

"You better add another 5, Mike.  Year before last we came awful close to running out, and that's the last thing we wanna do."

"Yes, sir, Mr. Ewing," the man says.

"Thanks, Mike."  As Bobby turns and starts back toward the house, he sees Ann come out of the house and onto the patio.  Smiling, Bobby walks over to her.  "I am REALLY looking forward to this year's Barbecue, especially since we didn't have one last year."

Ann smiles.  "So am I.  I think this is gonna be the best one we've ever had."

"I hope.  Honey, would you excuse m?  I have a couple things I need to take care of."

"Sure,"  Ann says.  Bobby kisses her and walks away.

Sue Ellen's car pulls into the driveway at Southfork and comes to a stop beside the caterer's van.  Her car is followed by Donna's black 2021 Lincoln Continental, which parks behind Sue Ellen's Lexus.  The two women get out of their cars, greet each other, and then walk up to the patio together, where Ann is standing.

"Morning, Ann,"  Sue Ellen says.

"Good mornin'."

"We are here to help, so whatever you need us to do, just say the word,"  Donna says.

"Well, thank you very much, I can use all the help I can get today."

"So what do you need us to do?"  Sue Ellen asks.

"Well, I was just about to get started on the chili, so, I guess you could chop some onions for me while I get the meat done?"

"Like we said, we're here to help,"  Donna says, the three women going into the house.

Upstairs.....John Ross and Krystina's bedroom....

Krystina comes into her and John Ross's bedroom and finds him on the phone, talking business.  "Look, Franklin, I don't care how much it costs, I want that rig repaired and that well back up and pumpin' within the week, do I make myself clear?"  John Ross says to the person he is talking to.  "Just get it done.  I'll be down to check on things myself in a few days, and by then, I expect that well to be fully operational again."  John Ross ends the call and lets out a sigh of frustration.  "Damn."

"John Ross, what's wrong?"  Krystina asks.  "Trouble at one of Ewing Oil's wells?"

"Yeah, but nothin' for you to worry about, darlin'."

Krystina walks over and puts her arms around him.  "Well, I don't want you worrying about it either, today.  It's Saturday, and this afternoon is the Ewing Barbecue, so put all thoughts of business out of your mind."

"Y'know, I use to enjoy these Barbecues a lot.  Not so much anymore."

"Why not?"  Krystina asks.

"Because these days it just means seein' some of the people I'd rather not see."

Krystina looks at him and smiles.  "Oh?  Like who?"

"Oh, like Lila Winthrop and her fam'ly."

"John Ross, Lila is your sister."

"HALF-sister, Krystina, and that's not a relationship that I claim,"  John Ross says, walking to the dresser.  "Lila Winthrop was just a mistake my Daddy made with a low life prostitute, so that does not exactly make her a class A Ewing."

"I thought you promised you were gonna try and get along with Lila."

"I am.  But that doesn't mean I have to fully accept her as a sibling, now does it?"

"Speaking of siblings, I talked to Fallon, and she's going to be here this afternoon, and so are Steven and Adam.  I'll have three of my siblings here.  I only wish Amanda could make it, but she's tied up with her business in London.  I really wish you could meet her."

"Yeah, you have a half-sister I've never even met before,"  says John Ross.  "When's the last time you saw Amanda?"

"Gosh, it's going on seven....no, eight years now.  Last time I saw her was a few months before you and I met.  I hated that she couldn't make it to the wedding."

"Well, I tell you what,"  John Ross says.  "Since Amanda is too busy and tied down to come here for a visit, why don't we go over there?"

"To London?"

"Sure, why not?  Been a long time since you and I took a trip together, so as soon as this stupid contest for Ewing Oil is over soon and I win, you and I will take a few days and head to London to visit your sister."

"John Ross I would love that."

"So would I.  So......you said Adam's gonna be at the Barbecue?"

"That's right.  First time my family will have attended the Ewing Barbecue, and I'm really excited to see them all."

John Ross gets a sly look on his face.  "Yeah, so am I,"  he says.

Denver, Colorado.....Adam Carrington's home....

At Adam Carrington's stately mansion in Denver, his maid comes into the foyer to answer his ringing doorbell.  The maid opens the door, and Adam's mother, Alexis Colby, walks in.  "Mrs. Colby, good morning,"  the maid says.

"Good morning, Marie.  Is Mr. Carrington at home?"

"Yes, ma'am.  He's up in his room.  I'll let him know you're here."

"Never mind, I'll just go on up,"  Alexis says.  She walks past the maid and goes up the stairs.

Meanwhile, in his bedroom, Adam is holding up two of his shirts and looking at them.  A knock comes at his door.  "Come in,"  he says.

Alexis walks into the room.  "Adam,"  she says.  "What on Earth are you doing?"

"Good morning, Mother,"  Adam cheerfully says.  "I'm just trying to decide which one of these shirts I'm going to wear today when I go to Dallas for the Ewing Barbecue."

"The Ewing Barbecue?  You're going to that?"

"Yes, I am.  Steven and Fallon are going, too, I'm surprised they haven't told you."

"No, neither of them said a word to me."

"Oh, well, it's this afternoon, and I must hurry."

"Are you going alone?"  Alexis asks.

"No, A.J. is going with me.  I hope you don't mind, but we're taking the ColbyCo jet."

"No, of course I don't mind.  As long as......."

Adam stops what he is doing and looks at his mother.  "As long as what, Mother?"

"As long as you don't mind another passenger."

"Another passenger?  And, who would this other passenger be?"

"Why, yours truly, of course."

"I was afraid you were going to say that.  Mother, I'm not sure it's such a good idea, you going to this Barbecue.  Krystle will be there, and you also know how the Ewings feel about you after that book of yours you wrote about J.R. Ewing a few years ago."

"Every word I wrote in my book was the truth,"  says Alexis.  "I'm going to that Barbecue with you today, Adam.  If you want to use the ColbyCo jet, that is."

"Mother, don't put me in this position."

"It'll be fine, I promise.  I'm not going there to cause trouble.  I've heard so much about this little event since Krystina married into that family that I'm just curious.  I'll rush home and change and get ready.  I'll expect you and my handsome grandson to pick me up on your way to the airport.  I'll see you in a bit."

Before Adam can say anything, Alexis quickly turns and hurries out of the room.  Adam shakes his head.  "Well, today should be very interesting,"  he says.

Cass Winthrop's apartment....

Cory is in his bedroom talking on the phone to Daniel.  "Are you looking forward to the Ewing Barbecue this afternoon?"  Cory asks.  "Yeah, me, too, it should be a lot of fun.  Maybe we can sneak off together somewhere during the Barbecue.  Yeah."

A knock comes at the door.

"Hey, I have to go.  Someone's at the door.  I'll see you at the Barbecue.  Bye."  Cory ends the call and puts his phone down.  "Come in."

Lila comes into the room carrying a stack of clothes.  "Hey, are you about to start getting ready to leave for Southfork?"

"Yeah, I just gotta take a shower and change my clothes."

"Good.  Here are your clothes I washed last night,"  Lila says putting the stack of folded clothes on her son's bed.

"Thanks, Mom.  Are you looking forward to the Barbecue?"

"I sure am."

"Even seeing John Ross?"

"Well, of course I could always do without seeing John Ross, but, the rest of the family is very nice and has been very welcoming to us.  Hurry up and get your shower.  We'll be leaving in a little while."

"Alright, Mom."

Lila gently touches Cory's face.  "My handsome son.  Your father and I are so proud of you.  You're going to college down in Austin, and makin' good grades.  And I just know you're havin' to fight all the girls off with a stick.  By the way, is there any special young lady you're seein' down in Austin?"

"No, Mom,"  Cory says, lowering his head.  "I'm way too busy to think about dating or anything."

"Well, I admire your dedication to your studies, sweetheart, but don't forget to unwind and have a little fun now and then.  Too much studying can lead to burnout."  Lila smiles at the young man, then leaves the room.

Cory sighs deeply, a sad look on his face.  He goes to his dresser and looks at himself in the mirror.  After hearing the praise his mother had just heaped on him, and her questions concerning his dating life, Cory begins to feel tremendously guilty for continuing to lie to his parents about being in school, and about being straight.

Meanwhile, Lila comes into the living room, where Cass is sitting on the sofa looking over some legal papers.  "Cass, you'd better hurry and start gettin' ready to go to Southfork,"  she says.

"Lila, relax, we have plenty of time.  The Barbecue isn't for a couple of hours yet."

"I know, but I wanna get there early.  We are part of the family, after all."

"Alright, I'll start getting ready,"  Cass says.

"Y'know, Cass, I can't tell you how proud I am of that son of ours."

"Well, I'm pretty proud of Cory myself,"  Cass says, standing from his seat.  "I think he's going to make a wonderful lawyer some day."

"I think so, too.  But I am a little worried about him."

"Worried?  Why?"

"I think Cory's working way too hard.  I just asked him if there was any special young lady he was seeing at school, and he said he was too busy to think about dating."

"Well there's nothing wrong with being committed to his studies.  That's the only way he's going to continue to make good grades and graduate at or near the top of his class."

"I know that, but I just don't want our son to sacrifice a social life for school."

"I'm sure that when Cory meets a girl he's interested in dating, he'll make time to do just that,"  Cass says.

Cory is standing in the doorway to the living room, having heard most of his parents' conversation about him.  Once again, the guilt over his ongoing lie begins to eat away at him.  Cory wonders how much longer he will be able to keep up his secret life.

Southfork....

A limousine drives up to Southfork and comes to a stop in front of the mansion.  Still supervising the

preparations for the Barbecue in the backyard, Bobby sees the limo as it pulls up, and immediately rushes out to meet it.  Christopher gets out of the back of the limo just as Bobby walks up.

"Looks like preparation is underway for the Barbecue,"  Christopher says.

"Yep, and you got back just in time.  How was California?"

"It was fine.  Mack MacKenzie's funeral was very sad, but his family and everyone seems to be holding up as well as they can."

"That's good,"  Bobby says.  "I really hate that.  The couple times I met him, Mack seemed like a really nice guy."

"Yeah."

"Erin didn't come back with you?"

"Yes, she's at the hotel.  I'm gonna go and pick her up and bring her to the Barbecue after she freshens up a little and changes her clothes, and I take a shower and change mine,"  Christopher says.  "Dad, before the Barbecue, we need to have a talk."

"Sounds serious."

"It is.  But don't worry, it's not anything bad.  I have some good news for a change."

Bobby smiles.  "Well, then, do tell.  I can use some good news right now."

"Later.  After I pick Erin up and bring her out here to the ranch.  I wanna tell you and Ann at the same time.  I'm gonna go in and take a shower.  Driver, bring my things in.  My room is at the end of the hall downstairs on the left."

"Yes, Mr. Ewing,"  the limo driver says as Christopher heads for the house.

Bobby watches his son as Christopher goes into the house, wondering what Christopher's good news is.

Justin and Pamela's home....

Justin, Devon, Hunter, and Randall are swimming in the pool at Justin and Pamela's new home when Pamela comes out of the house.  She pauses for a moment as she looks down toward the pool and watches them......her boys.  Justin is teaching Hunter how to swim.  Pamela lovingly watches how patient Justin is with her son.  Right now, Pamela is happier than she has been in a long time, as she has everything she has ever wanted.  She is CEO of Westar Oil, and the company is thriving.  She is married to the most wonderful man in the world, and she has two beautiful and healthy sons.  And her family has just moved into this gorgeous new home, a home that had once belonged to her grandmother and then her aunt.  What more could she possibly want?  "Hey, guys,"  she finally calls down to the pool.  "It's time to start getting ready to head out to Southfork."

"We'll be right out,"  Justin says.  "Okay, guys, come on.  Let's get out and get dried off."

"Aww, Daddy, can't we stay in just a little longer?"  Hunter asks.

"Pleeeeaaase?"  Randall begs.

"Now you boys heard your mother,"  Justin says.  "It's time to get out.  We have to be at Southfork in a little while for the Barbecue."

Devon climbs out of the pool, grabs a towel from a chair, and begins drying his hair and face.

Pamela walks down the steps leading to the patio and pool.

"Do I really have to go to this thing?"  Devon asks.

"Sure, it'll be fun,"  Pamela says.

"I'm gonna feel really out of place there."

"Well, you can hang out with Michael."

"Michael doesn't even like me," Devon says.  "And I can't blame if after what happened."

"It'll be okay, I promise,"  says Pamela.

"Devon, take the boys up to the house and ask Anna to get them dressed,"  Justin says.

"Okay.  Come on, guys,"  Devon says.  He takes both little boys by the hand and leads them up the steps to the house as Justin and Pamela watch.

"Devon's so good with the boys, and they're both crazy about him,"  Justin says.

"You're really good with them, too.....DADDY."

Justin smiles.  "God, I can't tell you how great it makes me feel every time Hunter and Randall call me that."

"Well, you ARE their Daddy, in every way that counts."

"Y'know, I was watchin' Devon with Hunter out here this mornin', and, I couldn't help but think..... what if they really ARE half-brothers?"

"We'll know soon enough,"  says Pamela.  "With the rush we had put on the DNA test, we should get the results no later than Monday, maybe sooner."

"Are you ready for whatever the results are?"

Pamela hesitates a moment before replying.  "Yes, I'm ready.  If Devon does turn out to be Tripp's son, then we'll deal with it.  But my question is, are YOU ready for the results?  Justin, I know how much you hated Tripp.  If Devon is his son, will you be able to handle him living here in our home?"

"Of course I will.  You know how I feel about Hunter, and he's McKay's son."

"Yes, but Hunter is also MY son.  You don't have that connection with Devon's mother."

"Pamela, since Devon has been livin' with us, I........I really have come to care a lot about that kid.  So yes, even if Tripp McKay turns out to be his father, that's not gonna change how I feel about him."

"Then we're agreed?"  Pamela asks.  "Nothing has to change?  Devon can continue to live here with us, no matter what the DNA results say?"

"Of course.  Devon has become a part of our family.  But I think there is somethin' we need to make a decision on."

"What's that?"

"Whether or not to tell Devon the truth.  If Tripp McKay was his father, do we tell him?"

"No,"  Pamela replies.

"Don't you think he deserves to know the truth?"  Justin asks.

"Justin, you know how Devon feels about Tripp.  You know what Tripp did to Devon's family.  Do you really think it would help him to know that the man he hates......the man who destroyed his family, was really his biological father?"

Justin looks off into the distance and shakes his head.  "No."

"Then we don't tell him, or anyone,"  Pamela says.  "The only reason we had the test done in the first place was to satisfy our own curiosity.  Besides, if Jeremy Wendell ever got wind that he has another great-grandson......a teenager who would soon be old enough to become his heir apparent......"

"Okay, you can stop,"  says Justin.  "The mention of Jeremy Wendell in itself is enough to make me never wanna let the truth get out if those results show that Tripp was Devon's father.  I wouldn't wish Wendell on anyone, much less a nice kid Devon."

Pamela smiles.  "We'd better go and start getting ready for the Barbecue."

Justin puts his arm around Pamela and the two head up the steps leading to the house together.

Southfork....later....

By mid-afternoon, the annual Ewing Barbecue is well underway, and nearly two hundred guests are mingling around the patio, rear and front lawns at Southfork while country music superstar Scotty

McCreery performs one of his hit songs, In Between, on a stage set up in the backyard.  All across the

property surrounding the mansion, Barbecue guests are mingling, dancing to the music, and catching up with old friends as they enjoy some of the best of the Ewing family's private stock of Bourbon and Scotch, and some of Southfork's prime barbecue, Brunswick Stew, and Miss Ellie's famous chili, cooked to perfection by Ann and Sue Ellen.

As the Barbecue is underway, Bobby and Ann are making their way through the crowd, mingling with and greeting their guests.  "Looks like the turn out this year is even better than we expected," Ann says.

"And it's still early,"  says Bobby.  "I guess everyone missed the Barbecue last year just as much as we did."

"Bobby, Ann,"  Cass Winthrop says, approaching the couple with Lila, Jasmine, and Cory.

"Well, hello, Cass, Lila, kids,"  Bobby says.

"We're real glad you all could make it,"  says Ann.

"We wouldn't have missed it for the world,"  Lila says.

"Oh, my God, is that......is that Scotty McCreery?"  Jasmine asks, looking across the crowd at the famous singer performing on stage.

"It sure is,"  replies Bobby.

"Uncle Bobby, you've GOT to introduce me to him!  He's one of my favorite singers!"

Bobby smiles at the girl.  "Well, I think that can be arranged."

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Richards and his daughter Megan drive through the front gate at Southfork and continue up the long, tree-lined driveway that is also lined with dozens of cars of Barbecue guests.  As Peter's 2022 Nissan Maxima nears the mansion, a uniformed valet holds out his hand, signaling for Peter to bring the car to a stop.  Peter stops his car alongside the young man.  Peter and Megan get out of the car, and the young valet gets into the car to park it for them.

"Wow, very impressive,"  Megan says.  "They even have people to park the cars for their guests."

"Oh, yeah, the Ewings definitely go all out, from what I remember,"  Peter says, he and his daughter making their way toward the house, Peter feeling nervous about seeing the Ewings again after so many years, especially Sue Ellen.

Meanwhile, standing nearby, Alex is talking to Michael, who is carrying Logan on his shoulders, when Alex sees Peter and his daughter arrive.

"Oh, hey, there's my therapist, Dr. Richards,"  Alex says.  "I'll see you later, man.  I'm gonna go and say hi to him."

"Okay, later, dude,"  Michael says as Alex walks away from him.

"Dr. Richards?  Dr. Richards?"  Alex calls as he runs over to meet Peter.

Hearing Alex calling his name, Peter turns around to face the young man as he approaches.  "Hello, Alex."

"Dr. Richards, I'm glad you could make it."

"Well, thank you for inviting me,"  says Peter.  "Alex Ewing, I'd like for you to meet my daughter, Megan."

Alex looks at the girl and immediately recognizes her from having met her at the Tower Club a few days earlier.  "Oh my God, it's YOU," he says.  "The girl from the restaurant."

"Yes, it's me,"  Megan says.  "Hello again, Alex Ewing."

"Wait, you two know each other?"  Peter asks.

"Not really, Dad,"  Megan replies.  "Alex came into the Tower Club a few days ago, and I was his server."

"I had no idea Dr. Richards was your father,"  says Alex.

"And at the time, I had no idea you even knew my father."

"Well, it sure is a small world,"  Alex says.

Walking nearby, John Ross and Krystina are mingling and greeting Barbecue guests and old friends.

"John Ross, good to see ya," says a middle age man who walks by and shakes John Ross's hand.

"Yeah, good to see you, too, Earl," John Ross says.  "Krystina, who's that Alex is talkin' to over there?"  John Ross asks, looking across the crowd at his son talking to Peter and Megan.

"I have no idea," Krystina replies.

"That man, he looks real familiar."

"Well, why don't we go over and say hi, and find out who they are?"  Krystina suggests.

"Good idea."  John Ross and Krystina make their way through the crowd, briefly pauses a couple of times to shake hands and greet a guest.  They walk over to Alex and the Richards.    "Alex, who are your friends here?"  John Ross asks.

"Dad, Krystina, I'd like for you to meet Dr. Peter Richards, and his daughter, Megan."

"So you're the doctor we have to thank for helping Alex,"  Krystina says.

"I'd like to think I helped him,"  Peter says.  "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Ewing."

"Please, call me Krystina."

"Krystina,"  Peter says, shaking her hand.

"And, Dr. Richards,"  Alex says.  "This is my father......"

"Hello, John Ross,"  Peter says.  "It's been a long time."

"Peter Richards?"  John Ross asks.  "Dear Lord, YOU'RE my son's therapist?  You're the Dr. Richards he's been praisin' and talkin' about for months now?"

"John Ross, you know Dr. Richards?"  Krystina asks.

"Damn right, I do.  At least I did when I was a little kid.  Peter was my counselor at camp."

"Seriously?"  Asks a surprised Alex.  "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Alex, how the hell was I supposed to know that this Dr. Richards was the same Peter Richards I knew when I was 5-years-old?  Besides, you never told us his first name."

"Wow, this is insane,"  Alex says.  "Dr. Richards, why didn't YOU tell me you knew my father?"

"Alex, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you."

"I'm waitin' to hear an answer to my son's question,"  John Ross says.  "Why didn't you tell my son that you knew his family?"

"To be perfectly honest, I didn't think it was important," Peter says.  "My past connection to the Ewing family had nothing to do with my being Alex's therapist, nor did it interfere with my being his therapist."

"John Ross, is it really such a big deal?"  Krystina asks.  "Dr. Richards did help Alex a lot, and for that, we should be grateful."

John Ross looks at Peter.  "I suppose."

Krystina looks around and sees her brother Steven and some other members of her family arriving.  "Alex, why don't you show Dr. Richards and his daughter around?  John Ross, some of my family just arrived.  Let's go and say hello."

"Okay."

"John Ross, it really is good to see you again.  I'm very pleased to see the man that you grew up to be."

John Ross nods, but doesn't reply to Peter's compliment.  He and Krystina walk away.

"Alex, I realize I should have told you that I knew your family when you invited me to the Barbecue,"  Peter says.  "For that, I'm sorry.  I hope that this won't affect our professional relationship.  But if you'd rather look for another therapist, I'd understand."

"Well, Dr. Richards, I wish that you had told me that you'd been John Ross's counselor, but, it really doesn't matter to me,"  Alex replies.  "I don't see any reason why things have to change because of it.  After all, it was a long time ago, right?  And you've helped me a lot these last several months."

"Okay, now that's all settled, can we stop being so serious?"  Megan asks.  "I thought we came here to have fun."

"You're right, sweetheart, we did,"   says Peter.

"Come on, I'll give you guys a grand tour of Southfork,"  Alex says.

Peter looks over Alex's shoulder and sees Sue Ellen chatting with some friends near the bar.  In his mind, he is immediately taken back to another time, many years ago....

"Dad?  DAD?"  Megan calls to him, snapping Peter back to reality.

"I'm sorry.  What, sweetheart?"

"Are you coming with us?"  Megan asks.

"Umm, listen, Alex, why don't you show my daughter

around a bit?"  Peter asks.  "I see someone I'd like to say hello to.  I'll catch up with you soon."

"Uh, okay, sure,"  Alex says, feeling a little uncomfortable at being left alone with Megan, even in a crowd the size of that at the Barbecue.  Peter kisses his daughter on the cheek, and walks away.

Megan looks at Alex and smiles.  "Quite a coincidence, huh?  My father turning out to be your therapist, and turns out he was your Dad's therapist, too."

"Uh, yeah, it is,"  Alex says.

"So, Alex Ewing, how about that tour of this fabulous ranch of yours?"  Megan asks.

Alex looks at the girl and smiles uncomfortably, finding it hard to fight his physical attraction for her.

Peter walks over to where Sue Ellen is chatting with Ann, Sly, and another woman.  Sue Ellen has her back to him, so she is unaware that Peter is approaching her from behind.  "Sue Ellen,"  Peter says.

Startled by the sound of Peter's voice, Sue Ellen pauses for a few seconds, then she slowly turns around to come face to face with Peter for the first time in many years.  Her mouth falls open in shock and she blinks her eyes, wondering if she was really seeing him.  "Peter?"

"Hello, Sue Ellen.  It's been a long time."

"Yes, it certainly has,"  Sue Ellen says.

An awkward silence follows as Ann and Sly exchange uncomfortable looks between them.  The other woman has already walked away.  "Sue Ellen, aren't you going to introduce us?"  Ann asks.

"I'm sorry.  Peter Richards, this is Ann Ewing, and Sly Duncan."

"Peter Richards?"  Sly asks.  "Weren't you John Ross's counselor at that childrens' camp he attended when he was about 4 or 5?"

"Yes, I was.  You have quite a memory."

"Peter, it's very nice to meet you, and welcome to the Ewing Barbecue,"  Ann says.

"Thank you, Mrs. Ewing, I appreciate that."

Ann smiles.  "You're welcome.  Well, if you will excuse me, I think I'll go and find Bobby."

"And I think I'll go and have another bowl of that delicious chili,"  Sly says, and she and Ann walk away.

"Sue Ellen, you look wonderful.  As beautiful as ever, even after all these years."

"Peter, I.......I can't believe it,"  Sue Ellen says.  "What are you doing here?"

"I was invited."

"Invited?  By who?"

Peter smiles.  "By your grandson, Alex."

"Alex?  Peter, how do you know Alex?"

"I've been Alex's therapist for the last several months."

"What?"  Sue Ellen asks.  "Wait a minute......YOU'RE the Dr. Richards Alex has been seeing to deal with all that trauma he went through with Shawn Smith?"

"Yes, Sue Ellen, I am."

"Peter, I'm sorry, I'm just....."

"I know how shocking it must be, seeing me again after all these years,"  Peter says.

"Yes.  The last time I saw you, you were........"

"I was being dragged kicking and screaming out of a restaurant on your husband's orders.  Yes, I know."

"I'm so sorry about everything that happened to you back then,"  Sue Ellen says.  "For the part I played in what J.R. did to you."

"It wasn't your fault, Sue Ellen."

"How long have you been back in Dallas?"

"I've been back for a while now.  I had my own practice, but not too long ago I accepted a position as a staff psychologist at Texas Health Presbyterian."

"Then you must know that my niece Lucy's husband, Mitch Cooper, is chief of staff there."

"Yes, Mitch is the one who hired me,"  says Peter.  "In fact, I had dinner with Mitch and Lucy recently."

"Lucy never mentioned to me that you were back in Dallas and that she had seen you."

"Because I asked her not to."

Sue Ellen sighs.  "I've thought about you often over the years.  I wondered what became of you, and where you went after you left Dallas......or rather, after J.R. so cruelly forced you to leave."

"I went to New York.  I finished my degree, then went to medical school."

"It looks as if you became just what you set out to become......a psychologist."

"Yes, I did,"  Peter says.  "I've had a very successful career, Sue Ellen."

"I'm so happy to hear that.  Did you ever marry?"

"Yes.  I married twice.  My first wife and I divorced."

"So, you're married now?"  Sue Ellen asks.

"No, Sue Ellen.  My second wife passed away."

"I'm very sorry.  Did you have children?"

"Yes.  As a matter of fact, my daughter is around here somewhere.  Alex is showing her around."

Sue Ellen is about to say something when Catlin comes over to her and Peter.  "Ah, there you are,"  Catlin says, walking up to his wife and putting is arm around her.  "I've been looking all over for you."

"I'm sorry, darling, I was chatting with Ann and Sly, when, uh, I ran into an old friend,"  Sue Ellen nervously says.  "Catlin, this is Peter Richards.  Peter, this is my husband, Catlin Ewing."

"Hello, Peter,"  Catlin says, extending his hand.

"Mr. Ewing, it's a pleasure."

"Pleasure's all mine,"  Catlin says.

"Peter was John Ross's counselor at camp when he was a little boy."

"Really?  Well, then, I guess that means that you two have known each other a long time,"  Catlin says.

"Actually, Peter and I haven't seen each other for many years."

"No, we haven't,"  says Peter.  "Mr. Ewing, again, it's very nice meeting you.  Sue Ellen, it's good to see you again."

"You too, Peter,"  Sue Ellen says, feeling increasingly awkward in Peter's presence.

Peter smiles and nods at the couple, then walks away.

Catlin notices his wife's discomfort.  "Are you alright, darling?"  He asks.

"Yes, I'm fine."

"So, Peter was John Ross's counselor, huh?"

"Yes, that's right."

"He was more than that, wasn't he?  To you, I mean."

Sue Ellen looks at her husband, unsure of how to respond to his question.

"Were you and he lovers?"  Catlin asks.

Sue Ellen remains silent as she turns away from him.

"Well, I guess I have my answer."

"Catlin, I'm sorry,"  Sue Ellen says, turning back to face him.  "It was a long time ago.  38 years ago."

"38 years?  So, you and Peter were lovers while you were married to J.R.?"

"I wouldn't even call what we had a marriage during that time.  J.R. and I continued to live in the same house, for John Ross's sake, but, for all intents and purposes, we were separated, and living separate lives.  I know that doesn't make it right.  I'm sorry that I never told you, but, that was a part of my life I honestly thought I had put behind me years ago.  And I certainly never expected to see Peter Richards again after all these years, let alone here at Southfork."

"He was younger than you."

Sue Ellen nods.  "Yes.  Much younger.  Peter was only 20. He was so young and innocent.  I don't have any excuses for why it happened."

"Did J.R. ever find out?"  Catlin asks.

"Oh, yes, he found out.  And he responded in his usual fashion."

"Good Lord, you're telling me that J.R. actually forced you to go back to him, and to sleep with him, by threatening to send an innocent boy to prison?" Catlin asks.

"When J.R. was crossed, or he felt betrayed, or when he felt that his territory was being encroached upon, there was no limit to his cruelty.  And J.R. saw me not as his wife, but as his territory."

"Sue Ellen, I'm sorry.  That must have been awful for you."

"It was one of the darkest times of my life.  I never told you because it was so painful, and I didn't want you to think less of me because of.....because of Peter."

"Darling, I could never think less of you,"  Catlin says, embracing her.  "And I can understand why you wouldn't want to share with me every detail of your life with J.R.  The man was an absolute monster."

Meanwhile, John Ross and Krystina are greeting her brother Steven Carrington, sister Fallon Carrington Colby, and Fallon's son, L.B. Colby, as Krystina gives her nephew L.B. a hug.  "I'm so glad you could all make it,"  Krystina says.

"We wouldn't have missed it for the world,"  Steven says.

"Where's my beautiful niece?"  Fallon asks.  "I can't wait to see how she's grown."

"She's upstairs.  I'll take you up to see her soon."

"Well, y'all just make yourselves at home here at Southfork,"  John Ross says.

"Thanks, John Ross,"  says Steven.  "Krystina, Danny sends his regrets.  He wanted to be here, but his fiance Angela's aunt was killed in a car accident a few days ago, and they had to stay in California for the funeral."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.  I was hoping to see Danny and get to meet the woman who finally stole his heart."

"You'll meet her before the wedding, I'm sure,"  L.B. says.  "They're planning a big engagement party in a few weeks."

"I wonder if that's postponed, though, because of Angela's aunt's death,"  Fallon says.

"No, I think they're going ahead with everything on schedule," says Steven.

"Krystina, you look great,"  L.B. says.  "Married life and motherhood sure seems to agree with you."

Krystina smiles.  "It definitely agrees with me.  And running Denver-Carrington must agree with you.  I haven't seen you look this happy in a long time."

"I love it.  Now I understand why Denver Carrington meant so much to Grandpa Blake."

"Speakin' of Denver Carrington, L.B., maybe we could talk a little business while you're here," John Ross says.

"John Ross, we're supposed to be here to have fun, not talk business," Steven says.

"Well, no harm killing two birds with one stone, Uncle Steven," L.B. says.  "John Ross, maybe we can talk some business."

"Well, come on, let's have a drink.  I have a deal I think would be perfect for Ewing Oil and Denver Carrington,"  John Ross says as he and Danny walk away from the others.

"My son has become quite the workaholic since he took over the presidency of Denver Carrington from you," Fallon says.

"I'm sorry about that.  John Ross has business on the brain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, too," says Krystina.  "Especially since he's involved in this contest for control of Ewing Oil."

"Contest?"  Fallon asks.

"Yes.  Let's go have something to eat, and I'll explain," Krystina says.  As the three Carrington siblings are about to head to the food, Krystle approaches them.

"Fallon, Steven," Krystle says, happy to see her two stepchildren.  "I'm so glad you came."

"Krystle,"  Fallon says, greeting her stepmother with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.  "You look great."

"Hello, Krystle,"  Steven says, kissing his stepmother on the cheek.

"Did L.B. and Danny come with you?"  Krystle asks.

"L.B. is here,"  Fallon replies.  "He's off discussing some business deal with John Ross."

"Danny wanted to come, but his fiance Angela had a death in her family, so Danny stayed in California for the funeral," Steven says.

"I'm very sorry to hear that,"  Krystle says.  Looking past her daughter and stepchildren, Krystle sees her other stepson, Adam Carrington, arriving with his mother, Alexis Colby, and his son, Adam, Jr., known as A.J.  "What the devil is SHE doing here?"  Krystle asks, referring to her arch enemy, Alexis.

"I knew Adam was coming, but I had no idea Mother was coming with him,"  says Fallon.

Adam, Alexis, and A.J. walk up to Krystle, Krystina, Steven, and Fallon.

"Well, good afternoon all,"  Alexis cheerfully says.

"Alexis,"  Krystle says.

"Mother, I didn't know that you were coming,"  Fallon says.

"Well, when I found out that Adam was coming to the famous Ewing Barbecue, I couldn't resist accompanying him."

"I really am sorry, but Mother insisted," says Adam.

"Don't I even get a hello?"  A.J. asks.

Krystina smiles.  "A.J., I'm sorry, hi,"  she says, hugging her nephew.  "It's great to see you.  How've you been?"

"I'm doing okay."

"Krystle, you're looking a bit peaked, my dear,"  Alexis says.  "Aren't you feeling well?"

"I was feeling just fine until you showed up, Alexis."

Alexis smiles at the insult.  "As charming as ever, I see."

"Mother, why don't you, Steven, and I go and get a drink?"  Fallon suggests.

"Thank you, darling, I would love one,"  Alexis says, walking away with her son and daughter.

Krystina walks up to Adam.  "What were you thinking, bringing her here?  You should know how the Ewings feel about her after that book she wrote about John Ross's father."

"Krystina, I'm sorry, but what could I do?  She insisted."

"You could have developed a backbone for once and said 'no'," Krystina says, then walks away with Krystle.

Adam looks at A.J.  "Well, son, I suppose we should.....mingle."

A.J. smiles and shakes his head.

Nearby, Conner and C.J. Ewing, Catlin's son, are walking around, C.J. smiling and politely nodding and greeting people while Conner looks uncomfortable and awkward.  "I don't know why I let you talk me into coming here today,"  Conner says.  "I don't know why I'm even here."

"You're here to have fun, cousin, just like everyone else,"  C.J. says.

"Look, umm, I think I'm just gonna head back to the apartment,"  Conner says.

"Man, you're acting crazy.  How many years have you been coming here to the Ewing Barbecue?  Five?  Six? "

Conner sighs.  "Yeah about that."

"Then why are you feeling so uncomfortable here now?  Because you're afraid you're gonna run into Dylan or Ashley?  Or Jasmine, maybe?"

"All three of them are here.  I saw them when we got here."

"So what?"  C.J. asks.  "You have just as much right to be here as they do.  Come on.  Why don't we go and have a drink and then find my Dad and Sue Ellen?"

"Sure, why not,"  Conner says.  As he is about to follow C.J. to the bar, he catches sight of Dylan through the crowd.  Dylan is talking to Jasmine when he also sees Conner.  The two estranged brothers lock eyes for a few seconds, then Dylan turns away.  A saddened Conner, realizing that his brother hates him as much now as he ever did, lowers his head and proceeds to the bar.

"Well, I'm surprised to see HIM here,"  Jasmine says. "You okay, Dylan?  Does it bother you, seeing Conner?"

"No,"  Dylan replies.  "I'm over what Conner and Ashley did to me.  As far as I'm concerned, neither one of them even exists."

"Well, that's the right attitude," Jasmine says, surprising Dylan by giving him a passionate kiss on the lips.

Watching the kiss from a distance are Ashley, Clay, and Michelle, and Ashley is immediately bothered by seeing her former boyfriend being kissed by her arch enemy, Jasmine.

"Would you look at that?"  Michelle asks.  "That girl is absolutely shameless."

"You okay, Ash?"  Clay asks, noting that his sister is bothered by the kiss.

"Yes, I'm fine.  No, I'm NOT fine.  It's obvious Jasmine is using Dylan, and the last thing I wanna see is him hurt again."

"Using him?"  Clay asks.  "Using him for what?"

"Well isn't it obvious?"  Michelle asks.  "She's using him for sex."

"What?  C'mon."

"Sure, why not?  That Dylan Ewing is a pretty hot guy, and knowing Jasmine Cory the way I know her, you're not gonna convince me those two aren't getting it on."

"Excuse me,"  says an upset Ashley, near tears as she walks away.

"Geez, Michelle, did you have to do that?"  Clay asks.

"Do WHAT?  I just stated the obvious."

"Yeah, well sometimes the obvious should be kept to yourself,"  Clay says as Bridget comes over to them.

"Hey, guys, have either of you seen Alex?"  Bridget asks.  "I've been looking for him for a while now and he just seems to have disappeared."

"I saw him earlier,"  replies Michelle.  "He was walking toward the stables with some girl."

"A girl?"  Bridget asks.

"Yeah, a girl who looked an awful lot like that waitress from the restaurant the other day," Michelle says.  "You know, that cute little blonde from the Tower Club."

A look of anger comes over Bridget's face.  "Thanks," she says, and quickly walks away.

Clay looks at Michelle with an expression of displeasure.  "Was that really necessary?"

"Was what necessary?"

"Telling your sister that you saw Alex go off toward the stables with some other girl?"

"Why?  It's the truth."

"Michelle, I love you,"  Clay says.

Michelle smiles at him and puts her arms around his waist.  "I love you, too."

"Just let me finish.  I love you.  God help me, I love you with all my heart, but sometimes.......... sometimes you do things that I just don't understand.  It's like you resent your sister or something.  I think sometimes you want her relationship with my cousin to fall apart."

"Why would I want that?"  Michelle asks.

"I don't know.  Why would you?"  Clay asks.  He pulls out of Michelle's embrace and walks away from her, leaving Michelle with an angry and confused look.

Alex and Megan are walking along the road by the stables, talking, as Alex is showing his guest around the ranch.

"Wow, this place is unreal," Megan says.  "It must be amazing to live on a ranch like this."

"Oh trust me, it is,"  says Alex.

"How big is this ranch?"

"To tell you the truth, I don't even know for sure.  Somewhere around 90,000 acres."

"90,000?"  Megan asks, astonished at the size of the ranch.

"Yep.  When you ride out on the prairie, there's Southfork land as far as the eye can see."

"I'd love a full tour sometime."

Alex looks at her and smiles.  "Maybe that can be arranged,"  he says.

"Isn't that your girlfriend coming this way?"  Megan asks.

Alex looks up and sees Bridget walking toward them.  "Yeah, it is."

"I've been looking all over for you,"  Bridget says, approaching them.

"Sorry, I was showing Megan around,"  replies Alex.  "Oh, Bridget this is Megan Richards.  Megan, this is Bridget McKinnon."

"Yes, I remember you from the restaurant,"  Megan says.  "It's nice to meet you, Bridget."

"I'm Alex's girlfriend, in case he didn't mention that,"  says a jealous Bridget.

"I already had that figured out."

"Bridget, guess what,"  Alex says.  "Megan's Dad is Dr. Richards, my therapist."

"Really?  Well, what a coincidence."

Megan smiles.  "Yes, isn't it?  I was blown away when I found out that Alex was one of my father's clients."

"Alex, can I talk to you?"  Bridget asks.

"Sure.  Megan why don't you head back up to the house?"

"Okay. I'll see if I can find my father.  Alex, thanks for the tour."

"You're welcome,"  Alex says as Megan walks away.

Bridget watches Megan as she walks away from them back toward the house.  Bridget waits until Megan is out of earshot and then she turns to Alex.  "What's she doing here?"

"She came with her Dad."

"Who YOU invited."

"Yeah, but I had no idea Megan was Dr. Richards's daughter,"  Alex says.  "Bridget, you do believe that, don't you?"

"I suppose."

"Bridget, I had no idea Megan was Dr. Richards's daughter.  And like I told you the other day, you have nothing to be jealous about."  Alex takes her by the hand.  "Don't you know by now how much I love you?"

"I love you, too.  I guess that's why sometimes, I get a little insecure,"  Bridget says.  "Here you're this really great guy......handsome, charming, sweet.  Sometimes it's hard for me to believe I actually landed a guy like you."

"Hey, you are beautiful, sweet, and I am the luckiest guy in the world to have you.  Come on, let's go back up to the Barbecue."

Bridget nods.  She puts her arm around Alex's waist and the two head back toward the house together.

Back at the Barbecue, Justin and Pamela are standing near the bar listening to another song being performed by country artist Scotty McCreery, and chatting with Afton, Lucas, Heather, and Jenna when Pamela looks across the way and sees her half-brother, Brad, arriving with his mother, Marilee.

"Oh, boy,"  Pamela says with a sigh.

"What's the matter?"  Justin asks.

"My brother just arrived.  I didn't expect him to be here.  I hope he's not going to start any trouble."

"Well, why don't we go and say hello him, and give him a friendly warnin' not to start any trouble?" Justin suggests.  "Y'all excuse us."  He and Pamela walk away from the others.

"Devon seems to be doing really well living with Justin and Pamela,"  says Lucas.

"Yeah, he seems pretty happy and well adjusted,"  says Heather.

"Yes, he's doing very well,"  Afton says.  "And he's wonderful with Hunter and Randall."

"I feel sorry for the poor kid,"  Heather says.  "His father dead, and his mother and brother both in jail."

"It's good to see Michael and Devon becoming friends,"  Afton says, looking across the way at the two boys hanging out together as they listen to the music.

"Yes it is,"  says Lucas.  "I think having Devon around is good for Michael, too.  He's been pretty down since Jacob moved to California with Courtney."

"I was very sorry to hear that Christopher and Courtney were getting a divorce,"  Afton says.

"We all were,"  Heather says.  "But, from what I see, they've both moved on.  Courtney is with Jacob's father in California, and I saw Christopher Erin Ward earlier.  They've been seeing a lot of each other lately."

"What happened to that Lucia Trevino woman Christopher was spending so much time with?"  Afton asks.

"Lucia and her younger son went back to Mexico for a while,"  replies Lucas.  "I think Lucia realized that she would never have the kind of relationship with Christopher she wanted."

Justin and Pamela make their way through the crowd to greet Brad and his mother.  "Brad, Marilee,"  Pamela says.

"Hello, Pamela.  Justin,"  Brad says.

"Brad,"  replies Justin.

"Looks like this is turning out to be one of the biggest Ewing Barbecues in years,"  Marilee says.

"It is,"  Justin says.

Marilee smiles.  "Pamela, I do believe this husband of yours gets more handsome every time I see him."

"Well, thank you, Marilee, I have to agree with you,"  says Pamela.  "Brad, I'm very surprised to see you here."

"Oh?  And why is that?"  Brad asks.

"Well, considerin' how you feel about my family, Pamela and I really didn't expect you to show up here at the Barbecue,"  Justin says.

"The Ewing Barbecue is the social event of the season.  I wouldn't have missed it for the world.  Don't worry, I'm not here to cause any trouble.  I'm here to relax and enjoy myself."

"Good,"  says Pamela.

"We're gonna hold you to that,"  Justin says.  "And if you do start any trouble, you're gonna have to answer to me."

"Is that supposed to scare me or something?"  Brad asks.

Marilee places her hand on her son's chest.  "Bradley, I could use a drink.  Why don't we head on over to the bar, get a couple of drinks, and enjoy some of that delicious Southfork barbecue and some good music, shall we?"

"Sure, Mother,"  Brad says.  He and Marilee walk past Justin and Pamela.

Justin and Pamela turn and watch Brad and Marilee as they make their way to the bar.  "I really don't think he came here to start trouble,"  Pamela says.  "Given his new position as head of the ORC, Brad knows that starting a fight at the Ewing Barbecue wouldn't be in his best interest."

"I hope you're right.  But I just don't trust your brother."

"I'll keep an eye on MY brother, and you keep an eye on yours,"  Pamela says.

"Deal,"  Justin says with a smile.

Meanwhile....the den....

Bobby pours himself a drink in the den and takes a sip as Ann comes into the room.  "Bobby,"  she says.

"Oh, there you are."

"What's goin' on?"  Ann asks.  "Christopher asked me to come in here and wait for him."

"Yeah, he told me the same thing.  Earlier today when he returned from California he said he had somethin' important he had to talk to us about."

"I wonder what it could be."

"I guess we'll find out when he gets here."

A second later, Christopher and Erin enter the room with Erin's little boy, K.C..  "Good, you're both here,"  Christopher says.  "I wanted to talk to you both together and tell you first, before we let the rest of the family in on it."

"Let the rest of the family in on what?"  Bobby asks.

"Erin, why don't you take K.C. into my room and let him take a nap?"  Christopher suggests.

"I will.  He's getting tired, it's been a long day for him,"  Erin says.  She leaves the room with her little boy.

"Son, what's this all about?"  Bobby asks.

"Well, you guys know that Erin and I have been seeing a lot of each other,"  Christopher begins.

"Wait, you're not about to tell us that you and Erin are gettin' married so soon after you and Courtney broke up, are you?"  Ann asks.

"No, it's nothing like that.  But what I have to tell you does have to do with Erin, and her son.  The truth is, Erin's  little boy, K.C. is my son."

Bobby and Ann's mouths both fall open in shock as the two exchange looks.  "What did you just say?"  Bobby asks.

"I'm K.C.'s father.  Erin named him Kenneth Christopher, after her father, and after me."

"Christopher.....are.....are you sure about this?"  Ann asks.

"You've had a DNA test?"  Bobby asks.

"No, I haven't.  But I know he's my son."

"If you haven't had a DNA test, then how can you be sure?"  Bobby asks.

"Dad, six years ago when I was in California visiting Uncle Gary and Aunt Val, Erin was there visiting the MacKenzies next door.  She and I got to know each other and we became close.  In fact, I fell in love with her.  I wanted to continue our relationship, but Erin returned to Tennessee to continue her law career."

"And now she came to Dallas and told you that you're the father of her child,"  Bobby says, skeptical.

"Yes.  And I know it's true.  All I have to do is look at that little boy, and I know it's true.  I know he's mine."

"Son, granted, the little boy does look a lot like you did at that age, but, don't you think you should have a test done to be sure before you accept responsibility for this child?"

"Christopher, I have to agree with your father,"  says Ann.  "I know how much you want to be a father, to have kids of your own, but this is too important not to be sure."

Christopher thinks about what his father and stepmother said for a moment, then without saying a word, he turns and leaves the room.

Back at the Barbecue....

Krystle Carrington walks up to the bar.  "Hello,"  she says to the bartender.  "I'd like a scotch and water please."

"Yes, ma'am."

Alexis Colby walks up beside Krystle.  "Excuse me,"  she says to the bartender.  "I'd like a scotch on the rocks."

"Comin' right up, ma'am."

Alexis turns to Krystle.  "Lovely party, isn't it?"  Alexis asks.

Krystle begins to laugh, which annoys Alexis.

"What the devil is so funny?"  Alexis asks.

"Do you know who you reminded me of when you asked me that?  You reminded me of that man in The Shining, you know, the ghost in the scene when what's her name........Wendy.......is running through the Overlook Hotel and she's seeing all these evil spirits."

"I have no earthly idea what you're even talking about,"  says Alexis.  "You know, Krystle, I do believe that you're becoming senile in your old age."

"Alexis, do you never get tired of intruding in places where you're neither wanted or welcome?" Krystle asks as the bartender hands her drink to her.

Alexis smiles.  "Krystle, dear, I know what I'm getting you for Christmas.  A muzzle."

"Muzzle THIS, Alexis,"  Krystle says, tossing her drink into a stunned Alexis's face.  Krystle smiles, puts her now empty glass down on the bar, and walks away while a fuming Alexis wipes the drink out of her eyes.

"Oh, that BITCH!"  Alexis says.

Donna and Ray greet their daughter Margaret with a hug as Margaret arrives with her husband, Senator Matt Culver.

"Margaret, Matt, I'm so happy that you're here,"  Donna says.

"Yeah, we weren't sure you were gonna make it,"  says Ray.

"Neither were we, with Matt's hectic schedule these days,"  Margaret says.

"I just flew back to Austin from Washington early this morning, and then I just had time to change, get to the airport and we flew straight to Dallas," says Matt.

Donna sighs.  "I honestly do NOT miss the hectic schedule of being in politics."

"They're keepin' you pretty busy up in Washington, huh, Matt?"  Ray asks.

"Oh, that's putting it mildly.  Right now we have eleven bills on the floor to be voted on, and first thing Monday morning I have a meeting of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources."

"Speaking of which, how do things stand right now in Washington as far as the oil industry is concerned?"  Donna asks.  "I know the shutting down of that pipeline created quite a few problems for the industry."

"Yes, and unfortunately, I'm afraid that's only the beginning,"  Matt replies.  "What worries me is that the Biden Administration seems to have declared war on the oil and gas industry.  These new bills they're putting forth and new proposals to cut half of all gas powered vehicles in favor of electric cars by 2030 is bad news indeed for the industry, and for the state of Texas as a whole."

"Well, thank goodness the oil industry has a good man like you fightin' on its behalf in Washington," Ray says.

"Which is why we've got to work overtime to get you re-elected," says Donna.

"Margaret,"  Lucy says, she and Mitch walking up to the four.

"Hi, Lucy, how are you?"  Margaret asks.

"I'm fantastic!"  Lucy happily says.

"Well, you look great.  Hi, Mitch."

"Hello, Margaret.  Matt,"  Mitch says.

"Mitch, how ya doin'?" Matt asks, shaking hands with his cousin-in-law.

"Just great.  I hear you're running for re-election next year."

"I sure am, and I hope I can count on your vote."

"Oh, definitely."

"Mitch used to be an avid democrat until he married me,"  Lucy says.

Lila approaches the group.  "Excuse me,"  she says.  "Lucy, Mitch, you wouldn't happen to have seen my son anywhere around, would you?  Last time I saw him, he was talking to Daniel."

"No, we haven't seen them, but I'm sure they're around some place."

"I saw the boys earlier,"  Donna says.  "They were walking toward the stables."

Lila smiles.  "Thanks, Donna,"  she says, and walks away.

"I'm happy to see Daniel becoming such good friends with Lila's son, Cory,"  Mitch says.  "Cory seems like a good kid, with a good head on his shoulders."

"Something I wish Daniel had,"  Lucy says.

"Daniel still givin' you problems?"  Ray asks.

"Not really.  It's just his attitude, that's all.  No matter how hard I try, that boy just hates me."

"Lucy, he doesn't hate you,"  says Mitch.  "Daniel has just always resented the fact that his mother and I got divorced."

"It's more than that, Mitch,"  Lucy says.  "The kid hates me."

The stables....

Meanwhile, Daniel and Cory are walking along the road near the stables and talking.  "Today has been almost perfect,"  Daniel says.  "Especially getting to spend this time with you."

"Definitely.  But, why ALMOST perfect?"  Cory asks.

"Well, what would make it absolutely perfect if we could be alone together."

"Yeah, it would.  Y'know, we could make that happen."

"How?"  Daniel asks, the two boys stopping in front of one of the horse barns.

"Our parents are here at the Barbecue, and this thing is gonna go on for a few more hours,"  Cory says. "We could sneak away and go back to my place for a while.  You came in your car, right?"

"Yeah I did.  And as tempting as that sounds, I don't think we should chance it.  What if our folks miss us?"

"Daniel, come on.  There must be 500 people here.   We haven't gotten to spend any time alone together lately, and I'm just dying to.  We'll sneak back up to your car, leave and go back to my Dad's apartment for an hour or so, and then come right back.  No one will miss us."

Daniel looks at his watch, then he nods.  "Okay, let's do it."

Cory smiles.  Then he places his hand on Daniel's chest and pushes him back against the side of the barn.  He gives Daniel a quick but passionate kiss.  "Just a sneak preview,"  he says.

"Dude, let's get the heck out of here,"  Daniel says.

The two young men quickly begin jogging down the road and back toward the long tree lined driveway where some of the cars are parked.  They are unaware, however, that Lila was standing nearby and witnessed the kiss, and the two heading off together.  A look of bewilderment and worry comes over Lila's face, as she begins to wonder what the true nature of her son's relationship with Daniel Cooper is.  Curious, Lila decides to follow the boys, but she is careful to make sure they don't see her.

Back at the Barbecue....

As the crowd applauds, country singer Scotty McCreery again takes the stage after having taken a break.  "Thank you,"  Scotty says.  "Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, and I'd also like to thank the Ewing family for inviting me here today to perform at  the annual Ewing Barbecue.  It's both an honor and a privilege to be here.  Y'all just sit back and enjoy some of that good Southfork barbecue, Brunswick Stew, and some of that delicious chili that I'm told was made personally by Mrs. Ann Ewing and Mrs. Sue Ellen Ewing.  But I gotta warn ya, be careful.  That stuff is HOT.  I just had a bowl of it myself and my mouth is still on fire.  But enjoy.  I'd also like to remind all of you that a collection is bein' taken up here today for a very worthy cause, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Y'know, in my business as a country music artist, I sometimes visit St. Jude's, and the work they do there is wonderful.  It's a blessin' to the families of these sick children not to have to worry about a place to stay, or about a huge hospital bill while they're overwhelmed with stress worryin' about their child. But remember, the work of St. Jude's is only made possible by the generous donations of people like you, so I urge you to give generously to this very worthy cause, and, those of you who have healthy kids, thank God for 'em every day."  Scotty looks over his shoulder at his band and nods, and the band

begins to play as the crowd  again applauds.  After a brief pause, Scotty begins to perform his hit song, This Is It:  "Way up in the mountains, four thousand feet high

There's a trail through the trees to a cliff

Where Carolina meets the sky

Ooh, and there's a view I just can't describe

No, we're not there yet, just a few more steps, baby wait

Okay, you can open your eyes

This is it, this is now, this is what I been talkin' 'bout

Lookin' out, can't you see forever

You take my hand, just take it in

This is a moment we won't forget

On top of the world, here, together

If there ever was a time for a perfect kiss, this is it...."

Adam Carrington is standing near the bar taking a sip of his drink and listening to the music when Brad walks up to the bar.  "Let me have a scotch and water,"  Brad tells the bartender.  Looking around to make sure no one is watching, he turns and looks at Adam.  "I'm surprised to see you here," he says.

"Well, I could say the same for you, given your enmity with the Ewing family,  I, however, am here because my sister is John Ross's wife, and I was invited."

"We need to talk about our plan.  It's time we set things in motion.  Is everything a go on your end?"

"Yes.  I hate the hell out of this."

"I don't really give a damn what you hate, Carrington,"  Brad says.  "You're gonna go along with the plan, or I blow you out of the water over that Iran deal of yours."

"You're in that just as deep as I am,"  Adam says.

"There's not one shred of evidence tying me to ANYTHING.  But I can make sure a whole warehouse full of evidence connecting you to illegal arms deals to Iran.....evidence that'll find it's way to the Judtice Department if you don't do exactly as I say.  Just remember, I hold all the cards."

"How could I forget?  Now if you don't mind, why don't you find some place else to......hang out?  It wouldn't do either of us any good for anyone to see us together."

Brad picks his drink up from the bar, looks at Adam, then walks away.

Adam takes a sip of his drink and he watches Brad as Brad moves through the crowd and meets Pamela on the patio.  "Somehow, Bradley Barnes, I'll find a way to make you pay for this,"  Adam quietly says to himself.  "Somehow, and some day you WILL pay."

"What did you say, Adam?"  Comes Krystina's voice from behind him, startling Adam.

He turns around to her. "Krystina, you startled me."

"What was it you were saying about someone paying?"  Krystina asks.

"Nothing,"  replies a nervous Adam.  "I was just thinking out loud.  Krystina, would you excuse me?"  Adam quickly walks away from her.

"Of course,"  Krystina replies, suspicious that her brother is hiding something.

Nearby, Dylan is listening to the music while sipping on a glass of lemonade when Conner approaches him.  "Dylan,"  Conner says.  "You and I really need to talk."

"There's nothing you have to say that I wanna hear,"  says Dylan.  "And I sure as hell don't have anything to say to you."

"Dylan, please.  We're brothers, and we haven't even spoken to each other in months."

"And whose fault is that?  Brothers?  As far as I'm concerned, I only have one brother.....Todd.  You're nothing to me.  Nothing but the guy who stabbed me in the back and destroyed the one good thing that's ever happened to me."

"Dylan, I'm sorry,"  Conner says.  "I know that I hurt you, and I don't expect you to ever forgive me.  But I need to explain to you.........I never meant for what happened.......to happen."

"You are such a lying bastard,"  Dylan says.  "You never meant for it to happen?  Yeah, right.  You couldn't keep your filthy hands off my girlfriend.  Well, you know what, BROTHER?  I'm glad it happened.  Because I found out exactly what kind of person you are, and what kind of person Ashley is."

"Dylan, what's going on?"  Jasmine asks, walking over to Dylan and taking his arm.

"Nothing.  Come on, Jasmine.  Let's go dance."

"Dylan, what the hell are you doing?"  Conner asks.  "Don't tell you're with HER now.  She's the one who caused all this trouble."

"I caused the trouble?"  Jasmine asks.  "You're the one who jumped into bed with your brother's girlfriend.  All I did was reveal the truth to Dylan about you and that tramp Ashley."

"You're a fine one to call someone a tramp,"  Conner says.  "You couldn't get me into bed so you seduced my brother?"

"Shut the hell up and don't talk to her that way,"  Dylan angrily says.

"Dylan, don't you see what kind of a girl she is?  Jasmine Cory is nothing but a troublemaker, and if you don't get away from her as fast as you can, she's gonna end up hurting you."

"You go to hell!"  Dylan says.  "Come on, Jasmine.  The air smells really bad over here."  Dylan and Jasmine turn and start to walk away from Conner.

"Dylan, wait,"  Conner says, grabbing his brother's arm.

Unable to control his anger, Dylan draws back his fist and punches Conner as hard as he can across the face, sending his brother crashing into a table and to the ground as onlookers nearby stop what they are doing and gasp in surprise.  Dylan looks down angrily at his brother for a few seconds.  Jasmine also looks down at Conner and smiles.  As Dylan and Jasmine start to walk away again, an angry Conner quickly gets to his feet and lunges for his brother, tackling Dylan around the waist.  The two Ewing brothers fall to the ground.  Dylan pulls out of his brother's grasp and attempts to punch Conner again, but this time, Conner blocks the blow and punches Dylan first across the mouth, then in the stomach.  Dylan counters by headbutting Conner in the stomach, the two young men falling, crashing into a table as a couple of women nearby scream.  The two wrestle around on the ground for a moment, then Dylan pulls Conner to his feet and punches him in the mouth twice.  Conner falls to the ground.  Dylan grabs Conner by the shirt collar and pulls him back to his feet.  As he is about to punch Conner again, Conner blocks the punch and hits Dylan across the face.  Dylan staggers backwards, and before he can regain his bearings, Conner punches him twice more.  The fight between the brothers attracts a large crowd of onlookers, including Ashley, who runs over to the scene and watches in horror as Conner lunges for Dylan again, only to have Dylan kick him in the stomach, sending him falling to his knees.  While Conner is down, Dylan punches him in the mouth again.

"STOP IT!!"  Ashley screams.  "SOMEBODY STOP THEM!!"

Meanwhile, Bobby, Christopher, Ann, Lucas, and Erin are coming out of the house and onto the patio when they notice a large crowd gathering around some kind of commotion on the lawn on the other side of the pool.  "What's going on over there?"  Lucas wonders aloud.

Just then, Michael and Devon run up to them.  "Dad, Grandpa!"  Michael says.  "Conner and Dylan are fighting!"

"Christopher, Lucas, give me a hand,"  Bobby says.  Bobby and his two sons push their way through the crowd until they see Conner and Dylan wrestling around on the ground.  "ALL, RIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH!"  Bobby yells.

"Come on, stop it, you two!"  Christopher says.  He grabs Conner while Lucas grabs Dylan and the two pull the brothers apart.

"Let me through here!"  Ray says as he and Donna push their way through the crowd, followed by Matt, Margaret, Lucy, and Mitch.  Ray walks over and angrily grabs Conner by his shirt collar with one hand and Dylan with his other hand.  "Alright, somebody better tell me what the hell was goin' on here!"  He says.

"Why don't you ask HIM!?  He started it,"  Dylan says, blood running down the side of his mouth.

"All I did was try to talk to him,"  Conner says.

"Like I said, there's nothing you have to say that I wanna hear."

"You think you're so PERFECT, huh, little brother?"  Conner asks.  "At least I'm not a drunk.  Remember the time I took the rap for you when you got drunk and almost killed Alex and his girlfriend?"

"You son of a......."  Dylan says as he starts to lunge for Conner again.

"Stop it!"  Ray says, holding Dylan back.

C.J. makes his way through the crowd with Catlin and Sue Ellen.  C.J. goes over and stands beside Conner.  "What happened?"

"What's it look like?"  Conner snaps.

"I'm gettin' sick and tired of this crap between the two of you,"  says an angry Ray.  "Dylan, you and Conner are brothers, and it's high time you started actin' like."

"He's no brother of mine,"  Dylan says with clinched teeth.  "And he better stay as far away from me as he can from now on."

"Believe me, that won't be a problem, because I don't wanna be anywhere near you,"  Conner says.

"Good."

"Hope you and your little slut are happy together,"  Conner says.

"What did you say?"  Dylan asks.

"You heard me,"  Conner replies.  "You and Jasmine deserve each other."

"Conner, that's enough!"  Bobby says.  "One more word and I'll ask you to leave."

"You don't have to.  I'll leave on my own,"  Conner says.  He wipes his bloody nose with the back of his hand, then turns and walks away.  C.J. follows him.

"Alright, everyone, show's over.  Everyone go back to dancing or whatever you were doing,"  Bobby says, and the crowd begins to disperse.

Ray looks at Dylan.  "You wanna tell me what the hell happened here?"

"Dylan was defending my honor,"  Jasmine says.

"He was what?"  Ray asks.

"You heard how Conner was talking about me."

Donna comes over to Dylan.  "My God, you're bleeding,"  she says.  "We'd better take care of that."

"Yeah, go get cleaned up,"  Ray says.

"Come on,"  Donna says.

"I'll come with you,"  Jasmine says.  She and Donna take Dylan toward the house.

Ray turns to Bobby.  "Bob, I'm sorry about that."

"Well, I guess it wouldn't be a Ewing Barbecue if we didn't have a little drama, would it?"

Ray laughs at the comment.  "No, I guess it wouldn't."

Meanwhile, as Dylan, Donna, and Jasmine head into the house, Donna stops Jasmine at the door leading into the kitchen.  "I can manage,"  Donna says.

"But I wanna help take care of Dylan,"  Jasmine.

"I said I can manage.  And I think you've done enough,"  Donna says.  She walks into the house and pulls the sliding glass door shut, leaving an angry Jasmine standing outside on the patio.

Jasmine walks back onto the patio by the pool, and begins looking around the crowd for any member of her family.  As she stands near the pool looking, Ashley comes over to her.

"Well, I hope you're happy with yourself,"  Ashley says.

"Excuse me?"  Jasmine asks.

"This whole mess is your fault."

"MY fault?  I'm not the one who hopped into bed with my boyfriend's brother.  But, I definitely wanna thank you, Ashley."  Jasmine pauses a second and smiles.  "If you hadn't cheated on Dylan with Conner, then I might never have hooked up with Dylan.  He's an awesome lover.  Best sex I've ever had, in fact.  And Dylan's a great guy, so it's your loss."

"I'm giving you fair warning, Jasmine,"  Ashley says.  "If you hurt Dylan in any way, you'll have to answer to me."

"Hurt him?  I don't plan on hurting him.  You see, cuz, unlike you, I'm not a slut who doesn't know how to stay faithful to one man,"  Jasmine says with a smile.

Finally having had enough of Jasmine's smart mouth and attitude, Ashley shoves Jasmine backward.  Jasmine loses her balances and falls into the pool with a scream!

Ashley smiles victoriously as she watches Jasmine struggling in the pool while several bystanders laugh at the scene.  Ashley turns and walks away.

Watching nearby chatting with Sue Ellen and Catlin, Marilee Stone smiles as she watches Jasmine being helped out of the pool by a young couple.  "Well, THAT certainly brings back memories,"  Marilee says.

Sue Ellen laughs.  "Oh, yes, it sure does.  I had almost forgotten about that."

"Forgotten about what?"  Catlin asks.

Sue Ellen and Marilee exchange knowing looks between them.

"Well, come on.  How about letting me in on the joke?"  Catlin asks.

"Well, it was at one of the Ewing Barbecues many years ago, that Marilee herself took an unexpected and involuntary swim in the pool,"  replies Sue Ellen.  "Courtesy of Jamie Ewing."

"Jamie Ewing?"  Catlin asks.  "Oh, yes, Jack Ewing's sister and another of my cousins."

"Yes."

"That little twit ruined my hairdo that day,"  says Marilee.  "Not to mention a very expensive outfit."

Meanwhile, across the lawn, Justin and Pamela are chatting with friends when Michael and Devon come over to them.

"Hey, Justin, Pamela,"   Devon says.  "Is it okay if I go out riding four wheelers with Michael?"

"I thought I'd show Devon some of the ranch,"  Michael says.

"Sure, it's okay,"  says Justin.  "You guys just be real careful."

"Don't worry, we will,"  Michael says.

"Devon, have you ever driven a four wheeler before?"  Pamela asks.

"Ummm, no."

"I don't think I like the idea of you going out riding when you've never driven a four wheeler."

"Pamela, c'mom, he'll be okay,"   says Justin.

"Don't worry, I'll teach him how to drive before we go out.  It's real easy to learn."

"So can we go?"  Devon asks.

"Pamela pauses a moment.  She looks at Justin, then at the boys.  "Okay.  But don't go too far.  Stay near the vicinity."

"We will.  Come one, let's go,"  Michael says, and the two boys run off toward the barn.

Justin and Pamela watch them with a smile.  "It's so good to see Devon and Michael becoming friends."

"Yeah it is,"  agrees Justin.  "I knew they would."

Pamela is about to say something when her cell phone  rings.  She takes the phone from her pocket and looks at it.  A serious expression comes over her face.

"Pamela?  Who is it?"  Justin asks.

"Dr. Langston,"  Pamela says.  She quickly answers the call.  "Hello, Dr. Langston?"  She is silent for a moment.  "You have the results of the DNA test?  Well, let's have them.  No, I'd like to know now.  Just tell me over the phone."  Pamela is again silent as she listens to her doctor friend on the other end of the line, then she gets a look of shock on her face.  "I see.  And you're absolutely sure?  Yes, I understand.  Thank you, Dr. Langston.  I really appreciate you putting a rush on this.  Thank you.  Bye."  Pamela ends the call.

"Well?"  Justin asks.  "What'd he say?"

Pamela looks around to make sure no one is close to them who can hear her reply.  "The DNA results were a match.  Hunter's and Devon's DNA matched.  They're brothers, which means that......."  she pauses.

Justin sighs.  "Which means that Tripp McKay is Devon's father.  We have Tripp McKay's son livin' in our home."

Pamela looks at her husband, then puts her arms around him as the two embrace, both of them unsure of how to process this news.

Cass Winthrop's apartment in Dallas....

Cory and Daniel are laying in Cory's bed, Cory laying on his back, staring up at the ceiling with a smile on his face while Daniel has fallen asleep in bed beside him.  Cory is thinking of how perfect his life is at this particular moment, despite everything else going on.  When Cory is with Daniel, he is truly happy.  He looks over at the sleeping Daniel.

While Cory and Daniel are in bed, the front door of the apartment opens, and someone quietly walks into the apartment.  That someone is Cory's mother, Lila.  She looks around the apartment and listens for any sounds.  Lila quietly moves through the living room, then down the hallway to Cory's

bedroom.  Lila pauses outside of her son's slightly open door.  After a few seconds, Lila pushes the door open and she is horrified at what she sees.........her son, Cory, in bed with Daniel Cooper!

"Cory?"  Lila says.

A startled Cory immediately sits up in bed, stunned when he sees Lila.  "Oh my God......Mom,"  he says, realizing that his secret was out!

Southfork.....

Brad is standing near the bar drinking a glass of scotch when a young uniformed waiter comes up to him.  "Excuse me, are you Brad Barnes?"

"Yes, I am."

"Mr. Barnes, a young woman asked me to give you this."  The young man hands Brad a folded piece of paper.

Brad takes the paper, opens it and reads it silently:  'Meet me in the den now.  An admirer.'  "Who gave this to you?"  Brad asks the boy.

"I really don't know, sir.  It was a very attractive young woman.  She said she needed to speak with you and it's urgent."

"Thank you,"  Brad says.

"You're welcome, Mr. Barnes,"  the young man says, and walks away.  Curious as to who sent him the note, Brad folds the note and places it into his pocket, then he heads to the house for his meeting with this mysterious young woman.

As Brad goes to the house, Adam Carrington is watching him from a distance, an angry look on his face.

A minute later, Brad walks into the foyer, then goes into the den, which is empty.  "Hello?"  He calls.  Brad is surprised when Krystina comes into the den.

"Hello, Brad,"  she says.

"Krystina?  I got a note from someone......"

"Yes, I know.  I sent the note."

"YOU sent it?"  Asks a surprised Brad.  "Krystina, I don't understand.  What's this all about?"

"I want some answers,"  Krystina says.

"Answers?"

"Yes.  Earlier, I saw you talking to my brother, and I'd like to know what it was all about."

"Your brother?"  Adam asks, nervously.  "Krystina, I don't know what you're talking about."

"My brother Adam.  I saw you talking to him at the bar just a little while ago."

"Oh, you mean that man at the bar I spoke to?  That was your brother?  I had no idea. He was just standing there and I was just making polite conversation about the Barbecue."

"Come off it, Brad,"  Krystina says,   "I know you, and I know my brother, and that conversation I witnessed was no polite small talk.  And then when you walked away from him, I heard Adam mutter something about you, and I know I heard him say your name."

"Krystina, that's ridiculous,"  Brad says.  "How could I possibly know your brother?"

"I have no idea.  I knew I'd never get the truth out of Adam because he's a compulsive liar, so that's why I came to you.  How DO you know Adam?  And what exactly are you and my brother up to?"

"Krystina, this conversation is ridiculous.  I don't know your brother.  You must have imagined what you thought you saw."

"I didn't imagine anything.  If you don't tell me what your connection to my brother is, then I'll just keep digging until I find out.   And whatever it is, it can't be good, given the fact that you're both snakes..  I'm giving you fair warning, MISTER Barnes....I WILL find out what's going on, one way or another, and if it's something that will hurt my family in any way..........I promise you, I'll make you pay for it for the rest of your miserable life."

Brad looks at Krystina, knowing that she meant every word of the threat she had just made.  Brad knows he has to come up with a way to cover his tracks, and fast!

I do not get why Corey & Daniel are so worried about their parents finding out about their relationship. I just hope Lila doesn't lose it over what she just saw.

Hopefully Krystina has wised up and is starting to figure out that her brother Adam is.....garbage! I think she already knows Brad is slime. Alexis should have just stayed her ass back in Denver.

Great Episode of the Barbeque. I loved the idea you used The Big Valley as the show Krystal was watching since she starred in it so many years ago. Nice touch. Also I love the Lila finally found out about Corey and Daniel. will be interesting. Look out Brad because Krystina won't let this go and there will be trouble all around for them. Will be interesting to see how all these storylines play out.
Thanks for writing these episodes John

Great job as always! Good flashbacks, and a traditional Ewing BBQ! Too bad John Ross was hostile towards Peter, but he’s his father’s son! Keep up the good work!

Well Trevor, Connor already got his ass whopping twice! But Jasmine needs her ass whooped too for starting all this drama between these two brothers. Ashley needs her ass whooped too. Everybody needs some kind of ass whooping because everybody involved is to blame. Never thought I’d ever see Dylan and Connor not be brothers because of a woman.

And before this Barbecue is over Ashley and Jasmine will be getting their hands on each other in an old fashioned girl fight. Can’t wait for them to slap each other! They are affected by their falling out. And by the way Jasmine, Donna is on to you. Don’t mess with her. She knows apart of you is to blame for Dylan and Connors fall out when it comes to that scene.

LOL at Ashley for pushing Jasmine in the pool! I figured she was the one that was going to end up in the pool because like her mother she has such a smart mouth! And based on all the trouble she has caused she kinda deserved that. But it was also great that Sue Ellen, and Marliee took a trip down memory lane where she ended up in the pool courtesy of Jamie Ewing.

That scene to end the episode is why I love Krystina. She’s not stupid! Oh Brad, you are about to get exposed on your little revenge plan and I could see this going two ways for you, Either you do what Krystina says and you cancel the revenge plan, not to mention the Colby Co deal with Adam because obviously he is making him go along with his revenge plan by doing this to John Ross, or else you go to prison and you lose your job, then she will stick John Ross and the rest of the Ewing men on you. Thank god Krystina is looking after John Ross stubbon and reckless self.

But yes at the end of the day both Adam and Brad are a bunch of snakes no doubt about it. Thanks for saying that Parker Bena. I absolutely agree. Alexis should have stayed in Denver. Next Sue Ellen and Alexis could get into a cat fight, I would love to see this. Sue Ellen would manhandle Alexis Colby.

    Andrew Hass (Thursday, 14 April 2022 00:21)

I'm glad to se a good episode of Dallas since it's been a long time.As for Alex, i don't think he'll cheat on Bridget but i don't think it's a crime if he thinks Megan is beautiful because i'm sure Bridget finds other guys attractive.
As for Brad, i think he should tell Krystina what's going on because despite everything Adam is her brother and i don't think she wants him in prison even if it means protecting Brad at the same time.So if Krystina finds out what's going on she might figure out a way to protect John Ross, Ewing Oil, Adam and even Brad.
As for Cory and Daniel, did they really think they could hide their relationship forever?I don't think Lila would really care that her son is gay but she might be shocked at first especially because of how she found out. Also i'm wondering if Cory will tell Lila everything.Plus i'm wondering if Daniel might tell his dad he's gay now that Lila knows because he may not his relationship with Cory won't be a secret much long and it's better his dad hears it from him than someone else.

Regarding Peter Richards, i'm wondering if because he's Alex's psychiatrist he tells his daughter Megan to stay away from Alex since there could be a conflict of interest there with Peter treating Alex with Alex been friends with his daughter and especially if Peter discovers his daughter might have feelings for Alex.
As for Christopher, i do think he needs a run DNA test to find out if K.C. is his father because otherwise he might always wonder. It doesn't mean Christopher thinks Erin is lying to him about been her son's father but for his own peace of mind he needs to know.

One thing is for sure, Jasmine is good alright. She got Dylan and Connor fighting over her! If she was a good person or cared she would have those brothers in each other’s lives. But she is enjoying this and thank god Donna is smart enough to realize who Jasmine is and that she is a trouble maker just like her mom. With the same smart mouth!

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 07:33)

That’s a great point Trevor because Donna is in there cleaning Dylan up so they could easily overhear Krystina and Brads conversation at the end of the day. I didn’t consider that. Excellent point man. But if they do, I hope they are wise and keep their mouths shut. They have enough to deal with. Man, that dissapoints me so much that Dylan and Connor aren’t going to be brothers. All because of a woman. A woman that doesn’t even crazy about any of them.

  • #28

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 07:36)

No offense but Dylan already whooped his brothers ass twice! He’s already got his revenge on Dylan. And honestly just being with Jasmine is Dylan’s revenge on Ashley not to mention all the hot sex they have. So it’s safe to say that both Jasmine and Dylan have gotten their revenge on Connor and Dylan. Now they just need to leave them alone.

  • #29

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 07:43)

Well of course Peter Richards is going to tell his daughter to stay away from Alex because Alex is his client. The Ewings are his family. Sue Ellen is his grandmother. John Ross is his father. That’s a lot of conflict right there. And I think she does like Alex but she needs to find somebody. Connor is single, she might need to try him. And yes Bobby and Ann are so right. Christopher needs a DNA Test so he can be sure that child is his. I mean Erin did pop up out of nowhere and drop this bomb on him. And I think Christopher can help Erin get better with her condition with all the resources he has at his disposal. I like the idea of him with Erin compared to Lucia Trevino. That was kind of a fantasy.

  • #30

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 08:12)

Alex is not going to cheat on Bridget. He’s known that young woman since he was 18. He’s been with her for about three or four years. He’s 21 or 22 right now. I think he does find Megan attractive. I think Bridget finds guys attractive too. This will teat their relationship to see if they are ready for marriage or they might have to wait a while and there is nothing wrong with waiting. Wrong! If it was up to Krystina, she would send Brad to jail! Adam Carrington continues to be Extactly what I thought and that’s garbarge. But she figuring out what’s going on will protect John Ross, Ewing Oil, yes even Adam but she will make sure he will lose his job because he promised his sister he wouldn’t use his job to get revenge on the Ewings and that’s what he is doing. This is why Brad is an idiot? For the most part John Ross has left you alone dude and you still want revenge? He knows what you are going through losing a father but you keep starting wars you will end up joining him. And yeah Cory and Daniel weren’t going to hide their relationship forever. My fear is when Cory tells his mother the truth she might mention that John Ross found out he was gay, and he found out that he lost his scholarship as well and he used that to have Cory side with him in that case involving the trust fund that JR had set up for Lila. And then Cory id going to have to deal with Cass. Then Daniel has to deal with his dad and tell him.

  • #31

    Andrew Hass (Friday, 15 April 2022 10:25)

#DerekMatthews Because Erin is dealing with her cancer she may want to make K.C.' s future is secure just in case she dies and that means proving legally that Christopher is K.C's father which means undergoing a DNA test because otherwise Christopher may not have any legal rights to K.C.Also i'm wondering if Bobby finding out he has another grandson could create conflict with other characters. For example i could see Michael been jealous of K.C.

  • #32

    Andrew Hass (Friday, 15 April 2022 10:37)

I think Alex and Bridget should wait to get married because just they're engaged doesn't mean they have to immediately get married.Plus i think both Alex and Bridget need to decide what they want to do with the rest of their lives in terms of careers and maybe even kids one day. Also i'm wondering if one of the reasons John Ross has sort of left Brad is because he knew Brad would screw up on his own and that way John Ross can honestly say he left Brad alone. As for Cory and Daniel, i think now that Lila knows about them they need to tell their families and i do mean about everything and that includes Cory been expelled from college. As for Lila, she's not stupid and she might start connecting some of the dots in terms of why Cory sided with John Ross and realize John Ross blackmailed Cory and could wipe away all the progress she and John Ross have made because i think they're acting at least cordial with each other.

  • #33

    Andrew Hass (Friday, 15 April 2022 10:44)

Regarding Peter Richards, i think as long he's treating Alex he needs to lay down some ground rules in terms of how close he and Megan get to the Ewing family.Plus in a way i'm wondering if Peter is happy that Alex's family knows he's Alex's therapist because now he can focus on helping Alex without worrying that he'll run into Sue Ellen or John Ross or whoever. Also i'm wondering if John Ross somehow knows what happened between Peter and his mom all those years ago or at least has suspicions because sometimes kids knows more than their parents think they do.So maybe back then John Ross did know his mom and Peter were together.

  • #34

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 17:40)

Peter Richards running into Sue Ellen was very uncomfortable. Crazy that they used to be lovers until JR threw him out his restaurant kicking and screaming. Well at least the Ewing family does know that he is Alex’s therapist and that Peter is trying to do nothing but help him. Of course kids usually know, especially if his or her parents live seperated lives. That’s a sign that things aren’t good and they are seeing other people. Yeah Peter needs to set some serious ground rules for Megan if she and Alex are going to be around each other.

  • #35

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 17:47)

Let me tell you something man, only a dummy would take the word of a woman when she tells you she is pregnant. Well that just is a chance that Christopher has to take.No man should EVER be all in for a child they don’t know is his or not. Yeah and if Erin dies and Christopher isn’t the father, he doesn’t have legal rights to KC. That would suck though at the end of the day, and everything. But he seems to be just going by a whim and that’s a dangerous thing to do sometimes. Micheal being jealous of KC is possible. But I also said Christopher can use all his resources at his disposal to possibly help Erin too. I think Erin, Christopher, and KC would make s perfect little family.

  • #36

    Derek Mathews (Friday, 15 April 2022 17:54)

Well that’s true. Now Brad has nobody to blame his blunders on and the fact is he did screw up just like his late father has done dozens of time in this feud. John Ross was really smart to leave Brad alone because now Krystina is going to expose him. I hope Cory doesn’t tell Lila about John Ross blackmailing him because you are right that means all of their work being cordial to each other is officially erased. I agree Bridget and Alex definitely shouldn’t get married. They have plenty of time for careers, kids, etc.

  • #37

    Andrew Hass (Friday, 15 April 2022 23:41)

I'm wondering if Bobby and Ann do some investigating on their own regarding Erin and K.C. in terms of finding K.C.'s birth certificate or birth records to see if Erin's story is true.Plus if i remember correctly Bobby found out that Jeff Farraday was Christopher's biological father by checking thier blood types. So maybe Bobby could find out K.C. blood type and see if it is compatible to Christopher's blood type because it is then that's just more evidence that K.C. could be Christopher's son.As for Erin, i don't think she's lying about Christopher been K.C.'s father because she's had years to come forward with the lie but that been said with her been sick she might be looking for someone to take care of K.C. if she dies.Plus we don't know much about what Erin has been up to in the past few years. So maybe she's lying about Christopher been K.C.'s father to keep her son safe for some reason.

  • #38

    Andrew Hass (Friday, 15 April 2022 23:53)

Regarding Cory, now that his and Daniel's relationship has been exposed so to speak he may have more important things to deal with that revealing that John Ross blackmailed him.Plus even though John Ross blackmailing Cory was wrong Cory may know he didn't have to give into John Ross's blackmail.Plus story-wise it might make more sense to keep the fact that John Ross blackmailed Cory till sometime down the line when it might have more of an impact. As for Alex and Bridget, i didn't say they shouldn't get married but maybe they should wait until they're out of college or after they started their careers or whatever.Plus maybe for now they should move in together because they have been dating for years and living together could help they see if they're ready to be married.

  • #39

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 16 April 2022 08:44)

Well I don’t know what Ann and Bobby are going to do. Christopher doesn’t know what Erin has been up to in the last 6 years later and everything either. They haven’t seen each other. I don’t think Erin is lying about Christopher being KCs father either but you got to be sure. We don’t know what blood type that Christopher and KC are. If Erin really wants to protect her son she will tell the truth not lie.

  • #40

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 16 April 2022 08:51)

Well I just hope it doesn’t come out. Well Cory is going to have to reveal that he lost his scholarship and got expelled from college now. His mom is going to want to know how long he has been gay too? His sister is the only person that really knows. Yeah maybe moving in together would be a good idea for Bridget and Alex. You have to do that before you get engaged anyway.

  • #41

    Andrew Hass (Saturday, 16 April 2022 09:44)

Both Christopher and Erin have changed in the last 6 years and so maybe they need to get to know each other again and maybe Christopjer needs to spend time with K.C. separate from Erin in order to form a relationship and get K.C. to trust him.As for Bobby and Ann, i don't see any harm in them doing some investigating on their own and if they don't find anything that shows that Erin is lying or not telling the whole truth that's good.Plus after everything that Christopher has been through the past few years with Courtney and Ana lucia i could see Bobby been worry that Christopher could jump into something too quickly with Erin especially if he thinks K.C. is his son.

  • #42

    Andrew Hass (Saturday, 16 April 2022 10:03)

I think Lila once she gets over her initial shock of finding out Cory is gay especially because of how she found out by finding him in bed with Daniel she'll be okay with her son been gay,Also i could see Lila been more upset that Jasmine knew before she did because she might feel that as Cory's mother she should have known first. As for Cory, i hope now his relationship with Daniel has been revealed he tells his parents about been expelled from college because i think he owes them the whole truth or at least the things they deserve to know.It doesn't tell them about John Ross blackmailing him. Also when John Ross finds out that Lila now knows that her son is gay i could see him been worried that Cory might reveal that John Ross blackmailed him and that could be the last thing John Ross needs coming out right now because of his contest with Clay.So the tables could sort of turn in that Cory might have something to hold over John Ross. However like i said i think Cory might have more important things to deal with going forward than exposing John Ross. Also i'm wondering if Cory and Daniel might face some bumps in the road because with their families now knowing about them they no longer have to hide their relationship and they might find out that having a public relationship is very different than having a secret relationship.
As for Alex and Bridget, them deciding to live together could create drama because they might have different ideas in regards where they want to live in terms of an apartment versus a house.Plus they could find out that living together is very different than dating because they'll have to learn how to live together and settle any problems they might have in an adult way and not rely on their families to solve their problems for them.

  • #43

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 16 April 2022 10:42)

Thanks for the credits buddy. Andrew Hass, You do an amazing job on those always at the end of the day. They don’t need to get to know each other again they just need to pick up where they left off that’s all. That’s not how relationships work. You always pick up where you left off. Sure having KC complicates things but they need to take their time knowing each other. Sure of course Bobby and Ann are concerned about Christopher with what has happened with Lucia and Courtney lately. But I like him and Erin better together. Lucia and Christopher would have been great too I think because Lucia was more of a grown woman than Courtney was. Erin is too. I mean she had a whole career. She was like a lawyer, and she is more experienced. Bobby and Ann can do some investigating if they choose but proceed with caution. I don’t think Christopher will because he’s not even a divorced man yet.

  • #44

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 16 April 2022 12:25)

Well Cory better not play that game with John Ross. Let’s just say that now that his mother knows he is gay it will just be John Ross and his little secret. It would not be wise for Cory to hold that over John Ross. And I could understand John Ross being a little worried because if it ever came out, he could lose the contest because Clay really cares about Cory though. His mother is definitely going to be shocked and so is Cass. Now on the other side, Daniel might refer that Lucy knew all along Daniel and Cory was gay and didn’t tell anybody. That would be an interesting twist though. Yeah Daniel and Corys relationship will be much harder now that everything is out in the open right now.

  • #45

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 16 April 2022 12:29)

That’s why you decide to live together in the first place. That’s what husbands and wives do. And if they want to get to that path, they will have to do the same thing. It might create drama but when in a relationship you are going to disagree on things for god sake. It’s not all glitz and glamour in a relationship sometimes.

  • #46

    Andrew Hass (Saturday, 16 April 2022 12:38)

@DerekMatthews No offense but i don't think Christopher and Erin can just pick up where they left off 6 years ago because they're not the same people now that they were back then. They both have had other relationships since they were last together.Plus as you point out Christopher's still a married man and Erin may not want to be with him romantically again until he and Courtney are divorced.Plus as you point also K.C. complicates things because i'm sure neither Christopher and Erin want to give him false hope that they're going to be together and Erin has her illness to deal with and Christopher needs to know his son.So maybe for now Christopher and Erin should shelve any talk about resuming romantic relationship until they deal with other things in their life and that way when and if they do get back together it can be with a clean slate of sorts. Also i'm wondering if one of the reasons Erin has reached out to Christopher now is because she's sick and she wants to make sure that if she dies K.C. is taken care and that Christopher knows he has a son.It could be like what happened when Charlie had cancer and she wanted to make sure that if she died that John Ross and Alex would know they were father and son and that Alex would have a parent in his life.

  • #47

    Andrew Hass (Saturday, 16 April 2022 12:49)

I don't think Cory would try to blackmail John Ross but i could see him trying to make a deal with him in which he agrees to keep quiet about John Ross blackmailing him if John Ross agrees to leave his mom alone.Plus i could John Ross agreeing to that deal because i think he has no big problem with Lila at this time and is even starting to accept her.Plus between John Ross and Lucy, i'm wondering if Lucy might have more to lose if it comes out that she knew about Cory and Daniel and that she blackmailed Daniel because people might expect John Ross to blackmail someone but not Lucy.As for Cory and Daniel, now that their relationship is out in the open they each will have to deal their individual families and that could put pressure on their relationship because each of them might have different ideas on how to deal with having a public relationship. Also i can't wait to see the first time Cory's family and Daniel's family have dinner together because since Daniel and Cory are in a relationship it makes sense that their families will interact more with each other.

  • #48

    Andrew Hass (Saturday, 16 April 2022 12:59)

Of course i know no relationship is perfect and that people in relationships fight/disagree with each other and i could be wrong but i don't think Alex and Bridget have had any real big fight/disagreement except for when Alex played little dirty while doing a business deal with John Ross in which he blackmailed someone into selling his land i think. However that fight was about Alex and his business tactics and not about their relationship. So it could be interesting to see how both Alex and Bridget handle things when and if they get into a disagreement about where to live or about their future together because they may have different ideas. For example who is to say Bridget won't want to leave Dallas one day because of a job or whatever?

  • #49

    Derek Mathews (Sunday, 17 April 2022 10:27)

Do you know how hard it is to get to know somebody ALL over again. It’s not like they don’t already know a little about each other. At least start over with each other half way and go from there. Christopher knows she was going to be a lawyer. Erin knows Christopher was married to Courtney. She didn’t know about his brief flirtation with Lucia. Christopher knows Erin was with other people. I mean he met her parents, her mom and dead. He found out her connection to Gary and Valene was. Like go from there. Now that KC is involved, yeah Christopher has to get divorced. And Bobby and Ann are going to be worried about him. I tell you he can use his resources and money to help Erin get better. What good is all those resources and money you got if you can’t use any of them? Then Erin can get better, and then he can get divorced, and take their time getting to know each other. But I’m saying that right now is Erin is putting a lot on Christopher, and I don’t like that. Taking time with each other and spending time with his son is extactly what he needs to be so doing. Because Christopher just met his son and before he is all in, he needs to absolutely know for sure. It will make him feel better. It will definitely make Ann and Bobby feel better too.

  • #50

    Derek Mathews (Sunday, 17 April 2022 10:43)

Well I agree with that. Cory making a deal with John Ross to keep quiet about their deal as long as he stays away from his mom makes sense. Of course Lucy will have more to lose there because she knew about Daniel and Corys relationship all along and that’s a bad look for her when it comes to her and Mitch. Mitch will wonder she didn’t tell her and so? Yes it will be really difficult for them to maintain their relationship because now everybody knows. So we will see how they handle it. They are wrong but yeah I could see their indival famalies getting together and talking about their relationship. But Jasmine is going to be dealt with first because she knew about her brother being gay before anybody else.

  • #51

    Derek Mathews (Sunday, 17 April 2022 10:59)

Alex and Bridget are still very much a young couple. The only thing I can see them disagreeing is this Megan Richards thing and although there is an attraction there with Megan Richards, Alex knows how good he got it. They have a lot to learn but they have been dating for 3 years now. But one thing for sure is this isn’t going to be the first time Bridget us going to get jealous. Alex is a Ewing. Women that generally are with handsome Ewing men get jealous of other women.

  • #52

    Andrew Hass (Sunday, 17 April 2022 12:49)

Regarding Christopher and Erin, maybe they need to sit down and talk to each other about what happened in the 6 years in each of their lives and get everything out in the open in terms of other relationships and whatever else.Plus if i was Christopher, i would make sure his legal rights to K.C. are secured no matter what happens between him and Erin because if K.C. is his son Christopher has the right to see him whenever he wants and not have Erin dictate things. Also i think right now Christopher and Erin's focus should be on Erin getting better and Christopher starting to bond with K.C.Also i agree that Erin maybe unintentionally is putting too much pressure on Christopher and i'm wondering if Bobby and Ann might step in and maybe take some of the pressure off Christopher. For example maybe they could invite Erin and K.C to move into the cabin at Southfork and that Christopher can get to know K.C. and Erin will have help if she needs it.

  • #53

    Andrew Hass (Sunday, 17 April 2022 13:02)

I could see Cory feeling he owes it to his mom to keep John Ross from bothering her because he feel guilty for betraying her by caving into John Ross's blackmail and testifying against her.As for Mitch, when he finds out that Lucy knew about Cory and Daniel and that she used it to blackmail Daniel it might make Mitch remember what Lucy did in the past when i think she paid off that nurse to keep her from telling Mitch that she was pregnant with his baby. Also i don't think Mitch will have a problem with his son been gay but the conflict might be with Daniel and Cory dating and how their families react to that.As for Jasmine, i have a feeling Lila and Cass might have a few words for her regarding her knowing about certain things. However i'm worried that Jasmine could be a wild card because i could be wrong but i think she knows that John Ross blackmailed Cory.Cory may not not try to blackmail John Ross but i may not give the same benefit of the doubt to Jasmine especially if Cass and Lila start laying down the law to her regarding her behavior.

  • #54

    Andrew Hass (Sunday, 17 April 2022 13:13)

Now that Alex has reassured Bridget about his feelings towards her and that he will not cheat i'm wondering if he might talk to Megan next to kind of lay down some ground rules regarding their friendship. For example i could Alex telling Megan they can be friends but she's expecting more from him then they can't be friends because he could make it clear that Bridget and their relationship comes first in his life and he won't do anything that could make him lose Bridget. Also i'm wondering if down the line another guy finds Bridget attractive or if Bridget finds another guy attractive because it could be interesting to see how Alex reacts to that because then the shoe would be on the other foot so to speak.Plus whether or not Alex and Bridget decide to get married immediately or not they need to start planning their future together in terms of where they're going to live once they get married and finances since each of them i think has money.

  • #55

    Fran Sledge (Monday, 18 April 2022 14:48)

I don’t think that Peter Richards has good intentions. He might want some revenge against the Ewings for what J.R. did to him and that is why he never told Alex about knowing his family. Either that or he may want to try to get Sue Ellen back. This could cause trouble with her and Catlin. As far as Krystina, I’m glad she has suspicions about Brad and Adam but she should tell John Ross. She shouldn’t try to handle it herself. She could get hurt.

  • #56

    Andrew Hass (Monday, 18 April 2022 23:25)

Regarding Peter Richards, i do think he should have told Alex that he knew his family in the past as soon as he became his doctor but i wonder if one of the reasons Peter wanted to treat Alex was to kind of make peace with his past with both Sue Ellen and John Ross.As for Krystina wants to deal with Adam and Brad on her own until she finds evidence against them and then maybe she'll confide in John Ross because right now all she has is suspicions that Brad and Adam are up to something.Plus Krystina could be worried that if she told John Ross her suspicions he might go confront Brad and Adam which would give them a heads up.

  • #57

    Fran Sledge (Tuesday, 19 April 2022 07:15)

I still don’t trust Peter Richards or his daughter. They are going to cause trouble for the Ewings. John Ross was right to be suspicious. Alex better watch out. As far as Christopher is concerned, I agree he should get a DNA test. I don’t understand why Erin never told him he had a son. That was cruel. But Christopher is so desperate to have a child that he is not thinking straight. For his sake, I truly hope K.C. is his son but there is more to this than meets the eye.

  • #58

I think trust Peter Richards more than i trust his daughter Megan at this time because Peter has his reputation as a psychiatrist to worry about.Yeah he might have ulterior motives for treating Alex but i don't think he would do anything that would risk his career. As for John Ross, i'm wondering if he might have Peter investigated if only to find out if Peter isn't hiding anything. Also i'm wondering if John Ross knows about Peter been falsely arrested for drug possession and Peter threatening J.R. all those years ago.Plus John Ross isn't stupid and if he finds out that Peter threatened J.R. John Ross might figure out that J.R. framed Peter for the drug possession and John Ross might figure out it was because of his mom and that she and Peter might have been involved. As for Sue Ellen, now that Peter is sort of back in her life i'm wondering she will tell John Ross about her affair with Peter before he finds out some other way.Plus if and when John Ross finds out that Peter was once involved with his mom that might make him even more suspicious of Peter. As for Christopher, he should do a DNA between him and K.C. if only to erase any doubts that anyone might have that he isn't K.C's dad.As why Erin has waited so long to reveal that KC. is Christopher's son, if i remember correctly Christopher got together with Courtney shortly after he and Erin broke up.So maybe when Erin found out she was pregnant she was going to tell Christopher but she may have learned that he was in a new relationship and she didn't want to disrupt his life by telling him she was pregnant. Also we don't know what Erin has been up to the last 6 years and maybe Christopher should find out if Erin is hiding any other secrets that could come out.Plus after Courtney and her secrets about Jacob and who Jacob's biological father was maybe Christopher should take it slow with Erin especially since technically he's still married.

I don‘t think Pamela and Justin can keep Devon‘s parentage a secret for long and Wendell will be very interested. Pamela and Justin do have a nice little family though.

#ParkerBena i think Pamela and Justin should tell Devon that he's Tripp's son because it's not their right to keep the secret from him.Now if Devon wants to tell other people he's Tripp's son that's his decision to make.Plus i'm wondering if Devon's situation might remind Justin of his past when his mom Cally kept the fact that J.R. was his dad.As for Brad, if i were him i would tell Krystina what's going on because she can't bring him down without bringing her brother Adam down with him.Yeah maybe Krystina could blackmail Brad into resigning into her for not sending him to prison and then Krystina could deal with Adam.

Christopher definitely has a ton on his plate but to get all them legal rights that he wants he has to know he is the father and the only way to find that is by taking a DNA test. That’s it. Once Christopher gets that DNA test proven he is the father then everything else can fall into place, he can sign the birth certificate, and then he can be all in when it comes to taking care of KC. But I do agree I think Erin is putting too much pressure on him so I hope Bobby and Ann step in to help him. Maybe talk to Erin and Christopher about their situation. I still think Christopher needs to use his resources to help Erin get back with the best doctors in Dallas.

    Andrew Hass (Wednesday, 04 May 2022 00:02)

I think both Christopher and Erin have a lot on their plates right now because Christopher getting a divorce from Courtney and Erin's dealing with her illness and they have KC to worry about. So maybe for now they need to shelf talk about resuming their relationship for now.As for Erin, if she's telling the truth about Christopher been KC"s father then she should have reason not to let Christopher do a DNA test.because then Christopher will have legal proof he's KC's father.I agree that Erin might be too much pressure on Christopher but it may not be intentional on her part because since she may know she could die she might be trying to make sure KC is taken care of.Also i think Ann should talk to Erin about putting so much pressure on Christopher because Erin might feel ganged up on if both Ann and Bobby talk to her. Also while Ann is talking to Erin Bobby could talk to Christopher about him not taking on so much so fast in terms of taking care of both Erin and KC.

One thing is for sure Jasmine and Cory have been involved in some really shady behavior recently! I’m all for Cory keeping his mom away from John Ross. Because with things being cordial between them It’s actually working so Cory needs to continue doing that. Jasmine needs to stop being such a troublemaker like mother. Stop having such a smart mouth like her mother because one day she is going to cross paths with somebody who isn’t going to take no for an answer. Lila and Cass will need to sit down with both of them and have a long talk about their shady behavior recently. Since Dylan and Connor got into that fight with each other, I know Lila will talk to Jasmine about that. Then both will talk to Cory about getting dropped out of college and then lying to them about losing his scholarship. For once Jasmine just needs to learn to keep her mouth shut! Even if you know about John Ross blackmailing Cory don’t say a thing. Because it won’t do any good you telling your mother. Sometimes you can’t tell everything to your parents. That’s a perfect example.

As for Lucy, If it comes out that Lucy knew about Cory and Daniels relationship, of course it’s going to make Mitch think of those times that Lucy blackmailed somebody. Like that nurse over his son, and so on. Even though at the time she found out I can kind of tell why she did it. I mean Daniel was acting like such a little snoot towards her and she probably couldn’t take so that’s why she probably decided to blackmail him. But that’s not going to be a good look. Both one thing for sure both families have a lot to talk about.

You keep referencing that Erin could die. Do me a favor, stop saying that. You do realize that the Ewings have the most money and resources right in the city right? They could use all that money and resources to help Erin because Texas has some of the best doctors in the United States. Yes Christopher has to get a divorce, yes he needs to get a DNA test, yes it would help if he didn’t move too fast in his relationship. Yes it would help if Bobby and Ann are involved to talk to both of them. Because honestly Erin just put a mouthful on him and he hasn’t really had time to absorb everything. Please get that DNA test before he can have those legal rights to KC and if Erin is telling the truth, she shouldn’t have no problem with a DNA test. Dont just take it on a whim because they still haven’t seen each other in 6 years. That’s a good minute.

As for Justin and Pamela, as much as it hurts, they will need to tell Devon that unfortunately the man he hates, the man that has ruined his family is his father because secrets like that are really hard to keep. Then they need to move on and see how he processes it. Yeah it might make Justin feel how his mother Cally didn’t tell him that JR was his father at the time but I would HOPE that Justin would would to do things different than his mother. But this is just another one of Tripp McKays indiscretions that now Justin and Pamela have to deal with. Wow! Tripp McKay really fooled Pamela for god sake, and everything. But the sooner you tell him the sooner y’all can get it over with at the end of the day, and everything.

I agree that Cass and Lila will have a lot to say to both Cory and Jasmine about their behavior and keeping secrets from them. Also i'm wondering if the fact that Cass is Jasmine's stepfather might come into play. For example if Cass tries to punish Jasmine for her behavior i could see her throwing it in his father that he isn't her real father even if she just says out of anger and doesn't really mean it.Also as i have said before i don't think Cass and Lila will really care that Cory is gay and that he's in a relationship with Daniel but they may care that he hid it from them and that he didn't tell him that he was kicked out of college. Also i could see Lila blaming Daniel for some of Cory's actions which could create conflict.

It could be interesting to see how Mitch reacts when he finds out everything that has been going on because he might understand why Lucy didn't tell him that Daniel's gay because that was Daniel's secret to tell but he may not understand Lucy blackmailing Daniel. Also i could see Cass and Lila having a few words for Lucy too when they find out that she has known for awhile about Cory and Daniel's relationship.

I hope Erin lives but there might be more drama if the show doesn't reveal if Erin will live or die for a bit.As for Christopher, he has a lot of deal with and the last thing he may want is to drag Erin and KC into his divorce with Courtney. Also a part of Christopher might have to wonder if Erin would have come forward now about him been KC"s father if she wasn't sick?Plus as you point out Christopher and Erin haven't seen each other for 6 years and each of them are probably different people now than they were 6 years ago because they have been with other people since they were last together. As for Bobby and Ann, i hope they do step in because they could see things more clearly than Christopher and even Erin

As for Justin and Pamela, they should tell Devon that Tripp is/was his father but maybe they could do it in a way that could make it easy for Devon.Plus they could point out to Devon that if Tripp is his father that means Hunter is his half-brother and so one good thing about Tripp been his father is that he gets a sibling. Also i'm wondering if this situation with Devon might make Pamela investigate Tripp's past to make sure there won't be any more secrets of his that could come out.

Until further notice I think I trust Peter Richards more than how daughter. Peter Richards is a highly respect doctor or pyschiarist right now. Megan Richards seems to have her eyes set on Alex and Peter needs to caution her doing that and he needs to definitely set some ground rules when it comes to Megan hanging out with Alex.I don’t believe Alex will cheat on Bridget because he knows how good he has it but he needs to be careful because as a Ewing now beautiful women will throw himself at him now. He has to be careful he won’t get up in a fatal attraction like Bobby did with Katherine, John Ross with Marta De Sol, Gary with Jill Bennett.

  • #78

    Andrew Hass (Wednesday, 04 May 2022 13:59)

I agree that Peter Richards is a highly respected doctor/psychiatrist with i'm sure a great reputation among his colleagues. So i don't think he would risk his career just to get revenge for what happened in the past.Plus Peter has been counseling Alex for awhile. So if he really wanted to use Alex in some way to get at Sue Ellen he had more than ample opportunity to do it.Plus maybe Peter sees him treating Alex as a way to make amends for the past or to get closure because he and Sue Ellen never really talked after Peter threatened JR at the Oil Baron's Club. Also i agree that Peter needs to talk to his daughter and put some ground rules for her to follow in her friendship with Alex.Peter may know he can't really tell Megan not to be friends with Alex since she's over 18 but he could tell her not to ask to Alex about his therapy sessions.I also don't think Alex will cheat on Bridget but i'm sure Megan won't be the last woman that might flirt with Alex even if he and Bridget get married. Also Alex could assure Bridget that even if women flirt with him he won't reciprocate and he'll let them down easy by saying he's in love with his wife or whatever. Also like i wrote above now that Alex has reassured Bridget about his love for her and that he won't cheat on her maybe he needs to talk to Megan and make it clear to her that he can only be friends and if she's expecting more from him then they can't be friends. Also now that i think Alex has sort of recovered from his ordeal with Shawn maybe it's time him and Bridget start planning their lives together. Also maybe Alex could set up a romantic setting where he could propose to Bridget properly because when he proposed to her they were in the Southfork swimming pool and when Bridget accepted they were in bed right after making love.So maybe it's just me but i don't think that was a very romantic way for Alex and Bridget to get engaged.

    Derek Mathews (Wednesday, 04 May 2022 18:49)

Honestly I think Megan Richards to be set up with Connor, not Alex. Connor is single, Megan is single and Alex does need to tell her they can be nothing more than friends. If she expects more, well then they can’t be friends with each other. Anyway I would like to see Megan Richards and Connor Ewing be set up. Yeah I don’t think Peter is using Alex to get revenge, I don’t think he wants to get revenge on the Ewings or Sue Ellen because what happened was like 30 or 40 years ago and JR is gone. I do think it was quite a shock Sue Ellen saw Peter. But glad he is doing right by her grandson though.

  • #80

    Andrew Hass (Wednesday, 04 May 2022 22:36)

I could see Alex as a way to reassure Bridget maybe setting Megan up with Connor if only to take Megan's focus off him.Plus maybe dating or just spending time with Megan could be a good thing for Connor too in terms of repairing his relationship with Dylan because if Dylan sees that Connor no longer wants Ashley it might be the first step of him forgiving Connor. That been said i don't think Dylan and Connor's brotherly relationship will be the same as it was before but maybe they could at least be friends again at least. As for Peter, i don't think he wants revenge on the Ewings or Sue Ellen because it was JR who set him up for that drug possession all those years ago and JR's dead now.Plus now that Peter is older now maybe he sees that he wasn't innocent back then because he did have an affair with JR's wife.As for Sue Ellen, i agree that it was probably a shock for her to see Peter at the Barbecue and finding out he's Alex's doctor. So i wonder if once the shock is gone Sue Ellen would want to talk to Peter alone to once and for all clear the air between them about what happened in the past.

    Derek Mathews (Thursday, 05 May 2022 06:13)

Even if Cass does punish Jasmine, she would be wise to keep her mouth shut for ONCE! She has such a smart mouth. Both Lila and Cory need to make way better decisions than they are at this moment. Lila will have words for Jasmine too. And Cass will have words for Cory about him lying to them about college, his relationship, his scholarship too. Obviously both people need some talking to at the end of the day and everything.

  • #82

    Andrew Hass (Thursday, 05 May 2022 06:59)

I'm wondering if Cass and Lila might make Cory and Jasmine get jobs in order to teach them responsibility and not rely on them to fix their problems for them.As for Jasmine, as you point out she has a smart mouth and sometimes she acts before thinking. So it wouldn't surprise me if Jasmine says something in the heat of the moment where she tries to shift the blame away from her and onto someone else.Plus i'm wondering if maybe Cass and Lila might reach out to Jasmine's father Matthew Cory who i think is still alive to help them deal with her.

  • #83

    Derek Mathews (Thursday, 05 May 2022 20:18)

Cory and Jasmine DEFINITELY need to get jobs or something to KEEP them busy, and to keep them OUT OF TROUBLE! They do need some kind of responsibility and maybe then they will learn a lesson. Jasmine needs to learn how to control that mouth of hers, and having a job will help her do that. Cory needs to have a job too because if you aren't in school, the next thing you should have is a job where you can learn how to manage money at the end of the day, and everything. Well getting in touch with Jasmine's father would be a really good idea. I think she might miss him.

  • #84

    Andrew Hass (Thursday, 05 May 2022 22:34)

Plus Cory and Jasmine getting jobs could create more story for them and have interact with more characters depending on what jobs they get.Plus Cass and Lila may not be happy that they have been giving Cory money for college like money for clothes or whatever when he hasn't been in college. As for Jasmine, having her biological father Matthew Cory show up could be interesting and maybe Jasmine missing her father could explain some of her behavior and her acting out.

  • #85

    Derek Mathews (Saturday, 07 May 2022 19:39)

Well Cory was always lying to them about going to college so he was lying about what he was spending the money on while he was NOT in college. No Cass and Lila won't be happy about that. But yes I think Jasmine feeling her father could explain her behavior. A girl no matter how old she is, ALWAYS needs her father and that would be interesting if he was on Dallas. Maybe him being around will change Jasmine for the better. Maybe she will CONFESS to Donna and Ray what she actually did.

  • #86

    Andrew Hass (Sunday, 08 May 2022 06:02)

I think for Cass and Lila their main issue going forward is that the trust they had in Cory and even Jasmine has been broken because both Cory and Jasmine lied to them or kept secrets from them.Like i have said i don't think Cass and Lila will have a problem with their son been gay once they get over the initial shock but their problem might be that Cory hid the fact that he was gay from them and he hid other things from them too. Also i agree that every girl no matter how old they are needs and misses their dad and maybe Jasmine needs her dad right now and maybe a part of her thinks it's her fault that her dad isn't in her life right now.So if Jasmine blames herself for her dad not been in her life that could explain some of her behavior.Plus Jasmine's father Matthew's family business is Cory Publishing i think. So Matthew's main reason for coming to Dallas could be his daughter but then there could be other things that could come up that cause him to stay longer. For example maybe Matthew learns that Donna is writing a book about JR and he could get involved in that because he may know a book about JR Ewing could be a moneymaker.

I don't think Peter has an interest in vengeance, J.R. is the only one he would want vengeance on and he's gone.
Yep, Christopher should get a DNA test. Does Christopher know Bobby used to believe Charlie could be his and got really upset with Jenna when he found out he wasn't and Jenna wasn't straight with him?
And maybe Steven Carrington can give Lila, Cass & Mitch some insight on how not to freak out bout your5 kid being gay.

I agree that Christopher that should get a DNA because he might always wonder if he's K.C.'s father.Plus lets say down the line Christopher and Erin get into a custody fight or a legal battle over Christopher's visitation rights or whatever a court would probably order a DNA test to prove if Christopher is K.C.'s father So Christopher should save time and do a DNA test now.Plus Erin is telling the truth she should have no problem with Christopher wanting a DNA test.
